Abstract
674,271. Brackets. BARCLAY, C. W. Jan. 17, 1951. [Jan. 19, 1950] No. 1511/50. Class 52 (v). [Also in Group XXV] A device to be secured to a girder or other structural member for fixing pipes &c. comprises a first element 12 carrying one or more pipe clips 17 or the like, and end connectors 13 adapted to engage the edges of the structural member 11 and secured to the element 12 so as to be angularly adjustable. The element 12 is preferably of channel section with inturned edges to form a T-slot, as shown, and with the web bored at intervals. The end connectors 13 have surfaces to seat on the underside of channel 12, and are secured by single bolts 14 passing through the bores in the channel base, with square nuts in the T-slot. Clamping screws 16 bear on the flanges of the girder 11. The pipe clips 17 are secured by bolts 19 with square nuts in the T-slot.
