645,254. Dielectric heating. IGRANIC ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. Nov. 8, 1946, No. 33248. Convention date, Nov. 10, 1945. [Class 39(iii)] In order to eliminate the need for D.C. blocking condensers between the anodes of a high frequency generator and the load, a tunnel grid circuit comprising an autotransformer 17 and the capacity of the heating electrodes 22, 23, also provides the output high frequency power. The tunnel anode circuit comprises a second autotransformer 10 fed via a choke 11 from the positive terminal 5 of the D.C. supply (or low frequency A.C. supply). An ammeter A is included in the cathode circuit. Specification 571,778, [Group XXXIX], is referred to.
