Abstract
610,675. Windows. LOCHHEAD, T. C. April 13, 1946, No. 11425. [Class 20(iii)] Means for bedding the sashes of windows of the kind wherein the sashes are hinged together and have spigots on which they turn and slide in guide channels on the window frame, comprises two co-acting plates 1 and 2, fixed respectively to the side of the sash 10 and to the opposing face of the frame 9, so that as the sash approaches the fully closed position, the oblique face 4 of the plate 1 co-operates with the corresponding face 6 of the plate 2 to force the sash stile inwards. A flexible sealing member 12 which is compressed by this action may be provided.
