Abstract
515,910. Drawing mechanism for textile material. SOLANAS, R. B. June 15, 1938, No. 17852. Convention date, June 30, 1937. [Classes 120 (i) and 120 (ii)] In roller drawing-apparatus a sliver-conducting roller 14 is mounted between pairs of rollers and rests freely on the lower rollers 3, 7, and a condensing-guide 18 is arranged adjacent the roller, the sliver passing beneath the roller. The guide 18 is carried by a bracket 19 pivoted about the axis of the roller 14, and a similar guide 23 carried by slotted arms 24 from the bracket, may be arranged within the nip of the front rollers. The guide slots of the condensers are open towards the lower part so as to be readily mounted and dismounted, and an inclined surface 33 is provided to facilitate threading.
