Abstract
494,100. Thermionic valves. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., and BLACK, D. H. April 19, 1937, No. 11128. [Class 39 (i)] An indirectly-heated cathode 1 of a thermionic valve is sup ported within an aperture in a spacing member 5 by a four armed double spring member 3 4, of molybdenum, riveted tc member 5 and secured to a stem wire 2 projecting from the cathode. Rubbing contact between the cathode and spacing member and consequent noise a,re avoided.
