Abstract

531,628. Thermionic valves. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd, and BACK, R. R. July 7, 1939, No. 19839. [Class 39 (i)] The valve has a convex anode 16 and a tubular indirectly heated cathode 8 supported by mica plates 9 from a metal disc 5. This carries the shields 6, 7 for the cathode ends and for the leads 11. The cathode is at right angles to the anode axis.
