Abstract
391,095. Doffing-apparatus for spinning and like frames. ATELIERS DE CONSTRUCTION DE BITSCHWILLER, Bitschwiller, Haut-Rhin, France. July 13, 1931, No. 20124. Convention date, Aug. 22, 1930. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 120 (ii).] A rack frame 7, which receives the duplicate bobbin rails of spinning and like frames for doffing purposes, is movable a distance equal to the width of one rail for positioning the rails by means of a pinion and hand-wheel 12, and the movement of the rail which has been supplied with empty bobbins D to the rear of the rack frame is effected by arms 5<1> on a shaft 2 operated by a lever 1, which is arranged to cover the knob 13 of the usual pawl mechanism of the " rise and fall device," so as to prevent untimely operation thereof, until it is returned to its forward position shown in Fig. 2 prior to the next doff.
