390,050. Doffing-apparatus for flyer spinning and like frames. BENZ, E. STUTZ.- Landsberg, Warthe, Germany. Aug. 11, 1932, No. 22539. [Class 120 (ii).] In apparatus for exchanging the bobbin rails of flyer spinning, doubling, twisting, and like frames, the carriers g for the rails are supported at their forward ends by the operating-means, such as toothed wheel e and at their rear ends by a guide k arranged within the frame. The underside i, Fig. 7, of the carrier may be curved so that in the forward position the removed full bobbins bl are inclined. Guide ledges on the carrier may be provided to embrace the operating-means. Means, such as a weighted catch, is provided to retain the empty bobbin rail in its rearmost position when the carrier is advanced to the position for receiving a full bobbin rail, or it may be retained by an auxiliary carrier.
