Abstract

1294387 Self threading guide; open end spinning EUTEX-ZAVODY TEXTILNIHO STROJIRENSTVI GENERALNI REDITEL STVI 5 March 1970 [7 March 1969] 10570/70 Heading DID Yarn 1 from an open end spinning chamber passes between withdrawal rollers 3, 4, through a self threading guide 5 over a tension compensator 6, is traversed by a traverse bar 8 having a slit 7 and wound up into a package 9 by a driven roller 10. After yarn breakage or on placing an empty bobbin on roller 10, the yarn end is taken from the package and placed directly into the withdrawal tube 2. As bar 8 traverses the yarn drops into slot 7 to be traversed with the bar. As the yarn is traversed to the left it slides along the front curved portion 12 of guide 5. As it is traversed to the right the yarn slides along the curved rear portion 13 of the guide until it slips into the guide slot. Simultaneously the yarn passes between rollers 3 and 4 and normal guiding and winding is re-established.
