Lateral-splash guards. - A splash-guard for vehicle wheels comprises a plate q suspended by a bracket h from the hub e, a flexible splashguard k carried by an iron band l bent inwardly at its ends, a rod f supported in bearings in the bracket h and hub e and attached to the plate g by springs i, and a rod a connected at its ends to the hub e and the chassis or existing mudguard respectively. The plate g can swivel about a bolt j and the hub e is carried on ball bearings. on the axle. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 24313/11, 7610/12, 7642/13, and 1087/14.
