Lateral-splash guards. - In lateral-splash guards for vehicles of the type in which a shield is suspended upon the outer side of the wheel, a rubber leather, fabric, or other sheet 25 is held in a manually-operated spring clip 18 supported by arms 11 carried by a two-part clip 7, 8 mounted between flanges on a pin 2 secured to the wheel hub or axle. The device is prevented from rotation by connections such as springs 21 with stationary parts of the vehicle.
