Description

  

      Verfahren    zur Darstellung     eines    aus     einem        lilonoazofarbstoff    erhaltenen, färbenden       Reaktionsproduktes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller,  brauner Farbstoff von noch unbekannter  Konstitution entsteht, wenn man die Verbin  dung     Amidonaphtolsulfosäure    - ?,8,6 -     azo-          resorcin    bei     Gegenwart    von wässerigem     Am-          tnoniak    mit     Oxydationsmitteln,    vorzugsweise       rnit    Luft,

       behandelt.    Der neue Farbstoff  stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar, das sich in  Wasser mit rotbrauner, in konzentrierter       Schwefelsäure    mit.     braunviolc@iter    Farbe löst.  Im Gegensatz zum     Ausgangsfarbstoff    färbt  \er Wolle und Seide kaum mehr an, dagegen  erzeugt er auf Leder ein schönes.     sattes     Braun, dessen Farbton von dem Grade der  Oxydation     abhängig    ist. Diese Lederfärbun  gen sind ausgezeichnet durch hervorragende  Echtheit gegen Licht und alkalischen Fett  liquor.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Eine Lösung von     2=r    Teilen des     @iono-          azofarbstoffes    aus     Amidonaphtolsulfosäure-          3,8,6    und     Resorcin    in 100-150 Teilen Was-         ser    wird mit 80-50 Teilen Ammoniak von       ?0%    versetzt und     bei    zirka 80       C-    unter  Rühren Luft durchgeleitet. Die anfänglich  orange Lösung wird bald tiefbraun. Die  Oxydation ist beendet, wenn Nuance und  Stärke der Lösung sich nicht mehr ändern.  was nach einigen     Stunden    der Fall ist.

   Als  dann wird mit Salzsäure angesäuert, mit  Hochsalz gefällt, filtriert und getrocknet.  Der Farbstoff kann auch direkt durch Ein  dämpfen der     ammoniakalischen    Lösung ge  wonnen werden.

  <I> Example: </I> A solution of 2 = r parts of the @ionoazo dye from amidonaphtholsulfonic acid 3,8,6 and resorcinol in 100-150 parts of water is mixed with 80-50 parts of ammonia of? 0% added and air passed through at about 80 C- with stirring. The initially orange solution soon turns deep brown. The oxidation is over when the shade and strength of the solution no longer change. which is the case after a few hours.

   Then it is acidified with hydrochloric acid, precipitated with high salt, filtered and dried. The dye can also be obtained directly by steaming the ammoniacal solution.

Claims

Claim: A process for the preparation of a reaction product obtained from a 1Vionoazo dye, characterized in that the compound amido-xzaphthol sulfonic acid-2,8,6-azo-resorcinol is treated with oxidizing agents in the presence of aqueous ammonia. The new dye is a dark powder and dissolves in water with a red-brown, in concentrated sulfuric acid with a brown-violet color. SUBClaims: 1. Method according to claim, characterized in that the oxidation is brought about with the aid of air.
