Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines aus einem     Honoazofarbstoff    erhaltenen,  färbenden Reaktionsproduktes.    <B>Es</B> wurde gefunden,     dass    ein wertvoller,  brauner Farbstoff von noch unbekannter  Konstitution entsteht, wenn man den aus  einem Gemisch von     diazotierter   <B>1,6-</B> und     1,7-          Naphtylaminsulfosäure    und     Resorein    erhält  lichen     Monoazofarbstoff    bei Gegenwart von  wässerigem Ammoniak mit Oxydationsmit  teln, vorzugsweise mit Luft, behandelt. Der  neue Farbstoff stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar,  das sich in Wasser mit brauner, in konzen  trierter Schwefelsäure mit violetter Farbe  löst.

   Im Gegensatz zum Ausgangsfarbstoff  färbt er Wolle und Seide kaum mehr an, da  gegen erzeugt er auf Leder ein schönes, sat  tes Braun, dessen Farbton von dem Grade  der Oxydation abhängig ist. Diese Leder  färbungen sind ausgezeichnet durch hervor  ragende Echtheit gegen Licht und alka  lischen     Fettliquor.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Eine Lösung von 24 Teilen des aus einem  Gemisch von     diazotierter   <B>1,6-</B> und 1,7-Naph-         tYlaminsuliosäure    und     Resorein    erhältlichen       Monoazofarbstoffes    in<B>100-150</B> Teilen Was  ser wird mit<B>30-50</B> Teilen Ammoniak von  20<B>%</B> versetzt und bei zirka<B>80 ' C</B> unter  Rühren Luft durchgeleitet. Die anfänglich  orange Lösung wird bald tiefbraun.<B>-</B> Die  Oxydation ist beendet, wenn Nuance und  Stärke der Lösung sich nicht mehr ändern,  was nach einigen Stunden der Fall ist. Als  dann wird mit Salzsäure angesäuert, mit  Kochsalz gefällt, filtriert und getrocknet.

    Der Farbstoff kann auch direkt durch Ein  dampfen der     ammoniakalischen    Lösung ge  wonnen werden.

   In contrast to the original dye, it hardly stains wool and silk, whereas it creates a beautiful, rich brown on leather, the color of which depends on the degree of oxidation. These leather dyes are distinguished by their excellent fastness to light and alkaline fatty liquor.



  <I> Example: </I> A solution of 24 parts of the monoazo dye obtainable from a mixture of diazotized 1,6- and 1,7-naphthyllaminsulioic acid and resorein in <B> 100-150 <B> 30-50 </B> parts of ammonia of 20 <B>% </B> are added to parts of water and air is passed through at around <B> 80 'C </B> while stirring. The initially orange solution soon turns deep brown. <B> - </B> The oxidation is over when the shade and strength of the solution no longer change, which is the case after a few hours. As is then acidified with hydrochloric acid, precipitated with common salt, filtered and dried.

    The dye can also be obtained directly by evaporating the ammoniacal solution.

PATENT CLAIM: Process for the preparation of a reaction product obtained from a monoazo dye, characterized in that the mono obtainable from a mixture of diazotized 1,6- and 1,7-naphthylamine sulfonic acid and resorein - azo dye treated with oxidizing agents in the presence of aqueous ammonia. The new dye is a dark powder and dissolves in water with a brown color, in concentrated sulfuric acid with a purple color.

Depending on the degree of oxidation, it produces rich brown tones of different depths on leather, with excellent fastness to light and alkaline liquor.
