Matt has made it well known that he loves his Kindle and for a while I thought about buying one too. Unfortunately I’ll have to order it from Amazon.com in the US because I live in Ireland. Attempts to buy it from Amazon.co.uk result in an error and asks me to go visit the US site. When you add shipping costs and import fees it drives the price on Amazon.com up to $193.58! Apparently nobody uses the in-game team …
Apparently nobody uses the in-game team chat in Bad Company 2 on PC so lots of people use Mumble. Unfortunately that can have unforeseen consequences when both teams are on the same Mumble server… Defender: Watch out guys, we have enemies in the back of our base Attacker: …….no i’m not…… Next time I fire up the game on PC I’ll join that Mumble server and see for myself. Had some great games with David and Bedo Empire (Was that his username? I forget, sorry!) on Bad Company 2 last night. Like others in the Bad Company 2 community we’re playing using our “secondary accounts” so we’re starting from scratch again. Problems with match making continue and the two of us were dumped into a game defending on Valparaiso against 2 level 50s and a level 42 player. First “proper” game of Modern Combat a…
First “proper” game of Modern Combat and it’s a game of domination. I spent a few minutes trying to get into team deathmatch games but I kept getting kicked so it was this or nothing. The game lasted quite a while but I only got 13 kills, 20 deaths. Nobody used their mic which in this game was booorrriiinngggg! After the beautiful atmospherics in Bad Company 2 I miss the rush of the wind, or bird call or whatever. It was pure silent! Meh, sucky game. Anyone want to see it?

Duke Nukem Forever Trailer
The trailer to the new Duke Nukem game looks good! If you don’t remember the first game from when it was first released don’t play it now. The pixelated low res graphics will disappoint, and they might even make you wonder what the hell was so good about it. Trust us old guys, it was great in it’s day and this trailer teases a great return for Duke on May 6th! Oh, trailer is 17+, probably for all the pixelated nudity!

It’s a review of only the demo where search & destroy is the only game mode. While I appreciated that they used an objective game mode for their demo it was a shame they didn’t include any of the other modes in the 45 minutes allowed to play the demo.
