IV. PROCEDURE

A. Engagement The teacher welcomes the learners into a subject of ARTS. Firstly, The learners are asked about what they know about arts-their forms, types, and relevance.
Moreover, The teacher elicit questions as follows:
Can an artwork be timeless?
What makes an artwork enduring and valuable?
How can an ancient art convey stories?

The teacher now then flashes pictures of cave paintings. The teacher asks why cavemen, the earliest men to settle the earth, drew/painted on walls.
The teacher also flashes sculptors of hieroglyphs of the Egyptians.

B. Presentation of the The Teacher presents the lesson about Ancient Art and Egyptian Art on textbook pgs. 103-110
Lesson
C. Activity The teacher will entask students to answer Let’s Explain pg. 111 where the students are tasked to choose 1 artwork from the lesson and write a persuasive
paragraph of its importance to preserve it.

D. Application The students will be required by the teacher to create a panting on stone medium inspired from ancient and Egyptian art.

E. Generalization and The teacher goes over the topic discussed within the lesson to clarify and generalize.
