How to subtract mixed number

When subtracting fractions and

mixed numbers, first find a
common denominator if the
denominators are not alike,
rewrite each fraction using
common denominator, and then
subtract the numerators.

Step 1. Change the similar

LCD by the denominator and
multiply by the numerator to get
new numerator.
