msm! 1 1 1 unlik .\\\\\nv\ UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
EDUARD LEISSNER, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR WALL-PAPER.
To all whom @t may concern:
Be it known that I, EDUARD LEIssNEa, of New York, iu the county and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Wall-Paper and Similar Fabrics, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for wall-paper and similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel grouping and configuration of parts hereinafter more fully described.
The accompanying photograph illustrates a face view of a wallpaper having my new design.
R represents a band containing vase-shaped figures a, of different heights, set in pairs of the same height, and alternating with figures b resembling tassels. These ligurcs a and b are set upon a band composed of rectangular ligures, which contain small circular figures. The figure L is circular, with a star-shaped center. The figure M consists of a series of overlapping wings surrounding a circular center. The figure 0 resembles a flower of geometrical pattern. The ligure P has a center somewhat resembling a four-leaved clover surrounded by half-circles. C is a band containing a block pattern broken by circles at intervals. The interstices between the figures are occupied by what resembles an open mesh or net-work, which seems to unite the various figures.
K designates the whole stripe, lnade up of the various figures.
I claim- 1. The design for wall-paper, consisting of' the band R, containing figures a and b, substantially as shown.
2. The design for wall-paper, consisting of the igures L M O P, substantially as shown.
3. The design for wall-paper, consisting of the band R and gures L M 0 P, substantially as shown.
4. The design for wall-paper, consisting of the band C, substantially as shown.
5. The design for wallpaper, consisting of the stripe K, containing figures a., b, L, M, 0, 45 P, and C, substantially as shown.
EDUARD LEISSNER.
