To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, EDUARD LEIssNER, of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented a new and original De- 5 sign for Nall-Paper, of which the following is a specification.

This invention relates to a new and original design for Wall-paper and similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel grouping and contigu- 1o ration of figures hereinafter more fully dcscribed.

The accompanying photograph illustrates a face view of Wall-paper having my new de sign.

Along the bottom line ot the body A appear a series of rounded arches, C O C, the caps of these arches being composed of the zo ornamental bands a` b o, laid one upon another. In front of the rounded arches are a series of pointed window-like arches, E E E E. From the top of the sides and from the vertex of these pointed arches run vertical stripes d of,

Ste., over a background of zigzag lines, the

stripes df, running from the sides, being ornalnented with projecting loaves. Within the pointed arches E E E are flowers D D D, re sembling open Water-lilies.

3o The border B has a zigzag stripe, o o, running horizontally across it, and having below it the lyre-shaped figures it' t', which appear to be set on the tops of the bands d f, ne. Fan-shaped ornaments lc k k, fixed upon handles which run vertically to the lower edge ot' the border and appear to project from the vertical bandse g, are set in a row above the zig zag stripe o 0 and upon a checkered background, and in the interstices between the np- 4o per edges of the fans are rosette-shaped ornaments l l l.

I claim- 1. The design for wallpaper, consisting of the window-like arches E, substantially as described.
