MICHAEL G. SESNON, OF BROOKLYN, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR WALL-POCKETS.
Specification forming part of Design No. 10,361, dated December 18, 1877 application filed October 31, 1877.
[Term of Patent 31} years] To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, MICHAEL G. SESNON of the city of Brooklyn, county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Wall-Pockets, of which the following is a specification:
My invention consists in the formation of I the back of a wall-pocket with a flat, oblong, or approximately square center portion, having from two of its opposite edges, or top and bottom, triangular extensions, the bases of which are of equal extent with and connected to said edges, and in arranging across the bottom of the center portion an oblong straightedged pocketflap, extending from side to side. The edges of the back have an ornamental border, as have also the edges of the pocket.
In the accompanying drawing, showing my design, A designates the rectangular central portion; B, the top, and O the bottom, triangular extension; and D is the oblong pocket arranged at the bottom of the central portion. The ornamental border a, surrounding the back, and the border I), surroundingthe pocket, may be varied according to taste.
The back and pocket may be covered with bright-colored paper or other material of the same or difi'erent colors.
What I claim is The design for a wall-pocket, substantially as herein described, the same consisting of a flat back, having an approximately square central portion, with pointed triangular extensions the whole surrounded by an ornamental border, and having a flat straightedged outwardly and upwardly inclined pocket-flap, of equal length with and adjoining the base of the bottom triangular extension.
