IMPROVEMENT IN CLOTHES-WRINGERS.

Specieation forming part of Letters Patent No. 56,449, dated July 17, 1866.

Be it known that I, ORRIN REEVES, of Greenport,in the county of Sniolk,in the State of New York, have invented a new and Improved ClothesNVringer; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and eX- aet description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon.

My invention consists of a wooden-frame clothes-wringer, combined with a lever, set of rubber rollers, and steel springs.

To enable others skilled in the art to make and use my invention, I will proceed to describe the same with reference to the drawlugs.

I represents the wringer; S S, two steel springs; A, the space for the spring to pass through; O, the clasp to secure the valve; g, the adjustable journal-box G G, two rubber rollers; B, a set of friction-rollers, which work with ease and are a great saving ot labor. D represents a shaft passing through frictionrollers; F, the leader, secured beneath the rollers G G, to turn the water vback into the tub. E represents the manner in which the `wringer is adjust-ed to the tub without fast- ORRIN REEVES.
