Abstract

본 발명은 편평 가요성 케이블(42)을 인쇄 회로 기판(18)의 상부 상에 장착된 정합 커넥터(16)에 상호 접속시키기 위해 제공되는 전기 커넥터(40)에 관한 것이다. 정합 커넥터는 플러그부의 양측면 상에 노출된 접점부(38)와 함께 회로 기판으로부터 돌출하는 플러그부(30)를 갖는다. 접점부는 기판 상의 회로에 접속된다. 커넥터는 정합 커넥터(16)의 플러그부(30) 위에 배치되는 기부 개방 리셉터클(44)을 갖는 유전성 하우징(43)을 포함한다. 하우징(43)은 편평 가요성 케이블(42)을 수용하기 위한 긴 슬롯(46)을 갖는다. 단자(52)는 하우징 내에 장착되어 편평 가요성 케이블(42)의 적절한 도체를 정합 커넥터(16)의 플러그부(30)상의 접점부(38)에 결합시킨다. 액츄에이터(50)는 편평 가요성 케이블(42)의 도체를단자(52)에 결합 유지시키기 위해 하우징의 슬롯(46) 안으로 삽입가능하다.

Claims (13)

  1. 편평 가요성 케이블을 인쇄 회로 기판의 상부 상에 장착된 정합 커넥터에 상호 접속되며, 상기 정합 커넥터는 플러그부의 양 측면상에 노출되어 기판상의 회로수단에 접속되는 접점부를 가진 회로 기판으로부터 돌출되는 플러그부를 갖는 전기 커넥터에 있어서, 상기 전기 커넥터는 정합 커넥터의 플러그부 위에 배치되는 기부 개방 리셉터클과, 하우징의 상부 가까이에 편평 가요성 케이블을 수용하기 위한 긴 슬롯을 갖는 유전성 하우징과, 하우징 내에 장착되어 편평가요성 케이블의 적절한 도체를 정합 커넥터의 플러그부 상의 접점부에 결합시키도록 되어 있으며, 상기 정합 커넥터의 접점부와 접촉하기 위한 리셉터클의 양 측면상의 접점부를 포함하는 단자 수단과, 편평 가요성 케이블의 도체를 단자 수단에 결합 유지시키기 위해 하우징의 슬롯 안으로 삽입가능한 액츄에이터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단자 수단은 다수의 단자를 포함하고, 각가의 단자는 정합 커넥터의 플러그부의 양측면상의 접점부와 결합하도록 된 U자형 접점부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 각각의 단자의 상기 U자형 접점부는 물림부에 의해 연결된 한쌍의 종속 레그부를 포함하고, 상기 레그부는 정합 커넥터의 플러그부의 양 측면상의 접점부와 결합하고, 상기 물림부는 편평 가요성 케이블의 각각의 도체에 접속되도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 물림부는 상기 슬롯과 연통하는 마우스를 형성하기 위해 두 갈래로 나누어져 있고편평 가요성 케이블을 수용하도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  5. 제3항에 있어서, 각각의 단자의 U자형 접점부의 적어도 하나의 레르부는 하우징상의 단자를 유지하기 위한유지 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 유지 수단은 상기 리셉터클과 접하는 하우징의 측벽을 에워싸기 위한 상향 후크부를포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 하우징은 상기 하우징을 제2인쇄회로기판에 고정시키기 위한 탄성 래치 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 단자 수단은 제2인쇄회로기판에 납땜되는 기부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는전기 커넥터.
  9. 편평 가요성 케이블을 인쇄회로기판의 상부상에 장착된 정합 커넥터에 상호 접속되며, 상기 접합 커넥터는플러그부의 양 측면상에 노출되어 기판상의 회로 수단에 접속되는 접점부를 가진 회로기판으로부터 돌출하는 플러그부를갖는 전기 커넥터에 있어서, 상기 전기 커넥터는 정합 커넥터의 플러그부 위에 배치되고 한 쌍의 양 측벽에 의해 부분적으로 한정되는 기부 개방 리셉터클과, 편평 가요성 케이블을 수용하기 위한 긴 슬롯을 갖는 유전선 하우징과; 하우징 내에 장착되어 편평 가요성 케이블의 적절한 도체를 정합 커넥터의 플러그부상의 접점부에 결합시키고, 각각의 단자가 물림부에 의해 연결된 한 쌍의 종속 레그부를 형성하는 U자형 접점부를 포함하고 있는 다수의 단자를 포함하는 단자 수단을포함하고, 상기 레그부의 기부 단부는 측벽의 벌어짐을 방지하기 위해 리셉터클을 에워싸는 하우징의 측벽을 에워싸기 위한 상향 후크부를 갖고, 상기 물림부는 편평 가요성 케이블의 각각의 도체에 접속되도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 물림부는 상기 슬롯과 연통하는 마우스를 형성하기 위해 두 갈래로 나누어져 있고편평 가요성 케이블을 수용하도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 편평 가요성 케이블의 도체를 단자 수단에 결합 유지시키기 위해 하우징의 슬롯과 단자의 물림부의 마우스 안으로 삽입가능한 액츄에이터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  12. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 하우징은 상기 하우징을 제2인쇄회로기판에 고정시키기 위한 탄성 래치 부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
  13. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 단자 수단은 제2인쇄 회로 기판에 납땜되는 기부를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전기 커넥터.
