제1도는 본 발명의 모관로 구조물의 단면도로서, 상기 구조물은 본문에서 수집성 “섬유”라고 하는 모관로 리본이며, 그의 기초부의 한측면상에 모관로를 갖고 있다,
제2도는 기초부의 대향측면상에 모관로를 갖는 본 발명의 모관로 섬유의 단면도이다,
제3도는 모관로벽이 반경방향으로 연장되어 모관로를 형성하는, 기초부를 갖는 본 발명의 모관로 섬유의 단면도이다,
제4도는 본 발명의 모관로 시이트의 투시도이다.

Claims (31)

  1. 모관로 기초부(capillary channel base), 및 각각 기초 단부와 말단 단부를 갖고 상기 기초부의 길이를 따라서 상기 기초부로 부터 최소한 0.2㎝ 정도 측방향으로 연장되어 있는 적어도 2개의 모관로벽에 의해 형성된 하나 이상의 구조물내(intrastructure) 모관로를 가지며; 2.0㏄/g 이상, 바람직하게는 2.5㏄/g 이상, 더욱 바람직하게는 4.0㏄/g 이상의 모관 비부피; 2,000㎠/g 이상, 바람직하게는 3,000㎠/g이상, 더욱 바람직하게는 4,000㎠/g 이상의 모관 비표면적; 및 13,800dyne/㎠ 이상, 바람직하게는 69,00dyne/㎠이상, 더욱 바람직하게는 138,000dyne/㎠이상의 압축 강도(건조)를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 모관로 중합체 구조물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 모관 비부피의 30% 이상이 모관로의 축방향에 수직인 단면에서 거의 평행한 벽에 의해 형성된 모관로내의 있음을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  3. 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 모관 비부피의 50% 이상이 모관로의 축방향에 수직인 단면에서 30˚이하의정합 차이를 갖는 벽에 의해 형성된 모관로내에 있음을 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  4. 제1항 내지 제3항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 모관 비부피의 30% 이상이 모관로의 축방향에 수직인 단면에서 모관로를 밀폐시키는 코드(chord)에 거의 수직이며, 더욱 바람직하게는 모관로 기초부에 거의 수직인 모관로 벽에 의해 형성된 모관로내에 있음을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  5. 제1항 내지 제4항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 모관 비부피의 50% 이상이 모관로의 축방향에 수직인 단면에서 모관로를 밀폐시키는 코드와 90°±15°이내의 각도를 이루는 벽에 의해 형성된 모관로내에 있음을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  6. 모관로 기초부, 및 각각 기초 단부와 말단 단부를 갖고 상기 기초부의 기리를 따라서 상기 기초부로 부터 최소한 0.2㎝ 정도 측방향으로 연장되어 있는 적어도 2개의 모관로벽에 의해 형성된 하나 이상의 구조물내 모관로를 가지며; 9이상, 바람직하게는 15이상의 종횡비(Slenderness Ratio)를 갖고; 모관로의 30% 이상, 바람직하게는 50% 이상이 0.30㎜ 미만, 바람직하게는 0.10㎜ 미만의 모관로폭을 가지며; 13,800 dyne/㎠ 이상, 바람직하게는 69,000 dyne/㎠이상, 더욱 바람직하게는 138,000 dyne/㎠이상의 압축 강도(건조)를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 모관로 중합체 구조물.
  7. 제6항에 있어서, 10μ미만, 바람직하게는 5μ미만의 평균 구조물 두께를 가짐을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  8. 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 모관 비부피의 30% 이상의 모관로의 축방향에 수직인 단면에서 거의 평행한 벽에 의해 형성된 모관로내에 있음을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  9. 제6항 내지 제8항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 모관 비부피의 50% 이상의 모관로의 축방향에 수직인 단면에서 30°이하의 정합 차이를 갖는 벽에 의해 형성된 모관로내에 있음을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  10. 제6항 또는 제7항중에 있어서, 모관 비부피의 30% 이상의 모관로의 축방향에 수직인 단면에서 모관로를 밀폐시키는 코드에 거의 수직인 모관로 벽에 의해 형성된 모관로내에 있음을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 모관 비부피의 50% 이상이 모관로의 축방향에 수직인 단면에서 상기 모관로를 밀폐시키는 코드와 90°±15°의 각도를 이루며, 더욱 바람직하게는 모관로 기초부에 거의 수직인 벽에 의해 형성된 모관로내에 있음을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  12. 제1항 내지 제11항중 어는 한 항에 있어서, 상기 구조물을 형성하는 중합체성 물질이 20dyne/㎝ 이상, 바람직하게는 25dyne/㎝ 이상의 증류수에 의한 집착 장력을 나타내는 것을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 구조물이 5.0㎝ 에서 1.5㏄/g 이상, 바람직하게는 10.0㎝ 에서 4.0㏄/g 이상의 증류수에 의한 모간 흡수력을 갖는 것을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  14. 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 염색된 증류수에 의한 수직 흡상 속도(wicking rate)가 초기 10분, 바람직하게는 초기 2분의 흡상기간내에 3.0㎝ 이상임을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  15. 제12항 내지 제14항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 증류수에 5분간 침지할시 압축 강도(습윤)가 138,000dyne/㎠ 이상임을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  16. 제1항 내지 제15항중 어느 한 항에 있어서, n-데칸에 대한 모관로 흡수력이 3.0㎝에서 1.5㏄/g 이상이며, 10dyne/㎝ 이상의 n-데칸에 의한 접착 장력을 나타내는 중합체성 물질로 부터 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  17. 제1항 또는 제6항에 있어서, 상기 기초부가 상기 모관로 벽이 반경 방향으로 연장되어 있는 중심코어이거나, 또는 상기 기초부가 평면으로서, 0.5㎝ 이하의 폭을 가짐을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  18. 평면 모관로 기초부, 및 각각 기초단부와 말단 단부를 갖고 상기 기초부의 길이를 따라서 상기 기초부로 부터 최소한 0.2㎝ 정도 축방향으로 연장된 다수의 벽에 의해 형성된 다수의 구조물내 모관로를 가지며; 1.2cc/g 이상, 바람직하게는 2.0cc/g 이상의 모관 비부피; 500㎠/g 이상, 바람직하게는 2,000㎠/g이상의 모관 비표면적; 및 13,800 dyne/㎠ 이상의 압축강도(건조)를 갖고; 폭 0.5㎝ 이상의 평면 기초부를 가짐을 특징으로 하는 모관로 중합체 시이트.
  19. 평면 모관로 기초부, 및 각각 기초단부와 말단 단부를 갖고 최소한 상기 기초부의 길이를 따라서 상기 기초부로 부터 0.2cm 정도 축방향으로 연장된 다수의 모관로 벽에 의해 형성된 다수의 구조물내 모관로를 갖고있으며; 3이상, 바람직하게는 9이상의 종횡비; 0.30mm 미만의 모관로 폭을 갖는 모관로의 30% 이상; 및 13,800 dyne/㎠ 이상의 압축강도(건조)를 갖고; 폭 0.5cm 이상의 평면 기초부를 가짐을 특징으로 하는 모관로 중합체 시이트.
  20. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 구조물이 모관로 벽의 말단 단부에 모관로 벽의 기초 단부에서 측정된 폭보다 작은 유체 수용 입구를 갖는 테이퍼링된 단면을 가진 모관로를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  21. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 구조물이 말단 단부에서 보다 기초 단부에서 더 두꺼운 테이퍼링된 모관로 벽을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  22. 제21항에 있어서, 상기 테이퍼링된 모관로벽이 평균 구조물 두께의 3.0배 이하의 최대 두께를 가짐을 추가로 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.
  23. 제12항에 있어서, 상기 구조물이, 단면 기초부 표면 경계면 대 기초부 폭 비율이 1.5 이상인 평면 기초부를 갖는 모관로를 포함함을 추가의 특징으로 하는 모관로 구조물.

(a) 압축다이로 부터 배출될시 유동성 유용 중합체 조성물이 중공환형 기초부 및 상기 기초부로 부터 반경방향로 연장되어 있는 다수의 모관로벽(이 기초부 및 벽은 다수의 모관로를 형성함)을 포함하도록 다수의 모관로 벽 오리피스가 반경방향으로 연장되어 있는 환형 기초부 오리피스를 갖고 있으며, 상기 환형 기초부 오리피스의 내부에 위치되어 있는 기체 유입구를 갖는 압출 다이를 통해 유동성 용융 중합체 조성물을 공급하는 단계; (b) 상기 중합체 조성물을 상기 압출다이의 환형 기초부 및 모관로벽 오리피스를 통해 동시에 공급하면서, 상기 기체 유입구를 통해 상기 용융된 중합체 조성물의 흐름과 동일한 방향으로 기류를 공급하는 단계; 및 (c) 중합체 조성물을 압출 다이로 부터 배출시킨 다음, 모관로 구조물을 목적으로하는 크기로 인발시키고 상기 구조물을 냉각시키는 단계를 특징으로 하는, 다수의 거의 평행한 모관로를 갖는 구조물을 제조하기 위한 압출방법.
  28. 제27항에 있어서, 상기 중합체 조성물이 열가소성 중합체 및 친수제를 포함함을 추가의 특징으로 하는 방법.
  29. 제27항 또는 제28항에 있어서, 압출다이로 부터 중합체 조성물을 배출할시, 상기 중합체 조성물을 28℃이상의 주위온도를 갖는 냉각 대역내에서 냉각 대역에 유입되는 중합체 조성물의 온도 이하로 냉각시킴을 추가의 특징으로 하는 방법.
  30. 다수의 모관로벽 오리피스가 반경방향으로 연장되어 있는 환형 기초부 오리피스 및 상기 환형 기초부 오리피스에 대한 내부영역과 외부영역을 가진 모관로 오리피스 층; 상기 환형 기초부 오리피스의 내부영역내에 위치되어 있는 기체 유입구; 및 상기 외부영역과 관련하여 상기 내부 영역을 적소에 고정 유지 시키기 위한 수단을 포함함을 특징으로 하는 압출다이.
