Claims (10)
- 각각 결착 수지, 착색제, 이형제 (a), 및 이형제 (b)를 함유하는 토너 입자를 포함하며,
(1) 이형제 (a)는 일관능성 또는 이관능성 에스테르 왁스이고;
(2) 이형제 (b)는 탄화수소 왁스이고;
(3) 결착 수지 중의 이형제 (a)의 용해도는 결착 수지 중의 이형제 (b)의 용해도보다 높고;
(4) 토너의 테트라히드로푸란-용해성 성분을 겔 투과 크로마토그래피 (GPC)에 의해서 측정할 경우, 분자량이 500 이하인 성분의 비율은 2.5 면적% 이하이고;
(5) 25℃에서 토너의 테트라히드로푸란-용해성 성분을 크기 배제 크로마토그래피-다각 레이저 광 산란(size exclusion chromatography-multiangle laser light scattering) (SEC-MALLS)에 의해서 측정할 경우, 이의 중량-평균 분자량 Mw는 5,000 이상 내지 100,000 이하이고, 이의 중량-평균 분자량 Mw와 회전 반경(radius of gyration) Rw는 하기 관계식 1을 충족시키는 토너.
<관계식 1>
5.0×10-4≤Rw/Mw≤1.0×10-2 - 제1항에 있어서, 25℃에서 토너의 테트라히드로푸란-용해성 성분을 크기 배제 크로마토그래피-다각 레이저 광 산란 (SEC-MALLS)에 의해서 측정할 경우, 중량-평균 분자량 Mw가 5,000 이상 내지 25,000 이하이고; 중량-평균 분자량 Mw와 회전 반경 Rw가 하기 관계식 2를 충족시키는 토너.
<관계식 2>
2.0×10-3≤Rw/Mw≤1.0×10-2 - 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 토너의 평균 원형도(circularity)가 0.960 이상인 토너.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 프로펠러형 날개가 100 mm/초의 교반 속도로 토너 입자 층을 통과할 때 분말 유동성 분석기로 측정할 경우 토너 입자의 총 에너지가 500 mJ 이상 내지 1,000 mJ 이하인 토너.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 이형제 (a)는, 산가가 2 mgKOH/g 이하이고 최대 흡열 피크의 피크 최고 온도가 60℃ 이상 내지 80℃ 이하인 일관능성 또는 이관능성 에스테르 왁스인 토너.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 결착 수지는 주성분으로서 중합성 단량체와 퍼옥시디카르보네이트를 중합시켜서 수득된 수지를 포함하는 토너.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 토너의 시차 주사 열량법(differential scanning calorimetry) (DSC)에서 이형제 (a)의 최대 흡열 피크의 피크 최고 온도 및 이형제 (b)의 최대 흡열 피크의 피크 최고 온도를 각각 Tma (℃) 및 Tmb (℃)로 표현할 때, 관계식 0≤(Tmb-Tma)≤5를 충족시키는 토너.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 이형제 (a)는 결착 수지 100 질량부에 대해서 5 질량부 이상 내지 20 질량부 이하의 양으로 혼입되고; 이형제 (a)의 함량과 이형제 (b)의 함량의 질량비 (이형제 (a)의 함량)/(이형제 (b)의 함량)가 1/1 이상 내지 20/1 이하인 토너.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 토너 입자는 현탁 중합 방법에 의해서 제조되는 토너.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 25℃에서 토너의 테트라히드로푸란-용해성 성분을 크기 배제 크로마토그래피-다각 레이저 광 산란 (SEC-MALLS)으로 측정할 경우의 수-평균 분자량 Mn(25℃)과, 135℃에서 토너의 o-디클로로벤젠-용해성 성분을 크기 배제 크로마토그래피-다각 레이저 광 산란 (SEC-MALLS)으로 측정할 경우의 수-평균 분자량 Mn(135℃)의 비율 Mn(135℃)/Mn(25℃)이 25 미만인 토너.
