Claims (19)
- 제 1 편광자, 제 2 편광자 및 액정 셀을 가지며, 상기 제 1 편광자가 상기 액정 셀의 시인측에 배치되고, 상기 제 2 편광자가 상기 액정 셀의 백라이트측에 배치된 액정 패널로서,
추가로 제 1 위상차층 및 제 2 위상차층을 가지며,
상기 제 1 위상차층의 굴절률 타원체는, nx = ny > nz 의 관계를 나타내고,
상기 제 2 위상차층의 굴절률 타원체는, nx > ny nz 의 관계를 나타내고,
상기 제 1 위상차층 및 상기 제 2 위상차층은, 상기 액정 셀 및 상기 제 2 편광자 사이에 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정 패널. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 2 편광자의 투과율 (T2) 이, 상기 제 1 편광자의 투과율 (T1) 보다 큰, 액정 패널. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 제 2 편광자의 투과율 (T2) 과, 상기 제 1 편광자의 투과율 (T1) 의 차 (ΔT = T2 - T1) 가 0.1∼6.0 % 의 범위인, 액정 패널. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 편광자의 투과율 (T1) 이 38.3∼43.3 % 의 범위이고, 상기 제 2 편광자의 투과율 (T2) 이 41.1∼44.3 % 의 범위인, 액정 패널. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 편광자 및 상기 제 2 편광자의 적어도 일방의 편광도가 99 % 이상인, 액정 패널. - 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 편광자 및 상기 제 2 편광자의 적어도 일방이, 요오드를 함유하는 폴리비닐알코올계 수지를 포함하는, 액정 패널. - 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 편광자의 요오드 함유량 (I1) 과, 상기 제 2 편광자의 요오드 함유량 (I2) 의 차 (ΔI = I1 - I2) 가 0.1∼2.6 중량% 의 범위인, 액정 패널. - 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 편광자의 요오드 함유량 (I1) 및 상기 제 2 편광자의 요오드 함유량 (I2) 의 적어도 일방이 1.8∼5.0 중량% 의 범위인, 액정 패널. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 2 위상차층의 지상축과 상기 제 1 편광자의 흡수축이 직교하고 있는, 액정 패널. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 시인측으로부터 상기 백라이트측의 방향을 향해, 상기 제 1 위상차층 및 상기 제 2 위상차층이 이 순서로 배치되어 있는, 액정 패널. - 제 10 항에 있어서,
상기 제 2 편광자와 상기 제 2 위상차층의 적층에 있어서, 상기 제 2 편광자와 상기 제 2 위상차층이 접착층을 개재하여 적층되어 있는, 액정 패널. - 제 11 항에 있어서,
상기 접착층이, 폴리비닐알코올계 수지를 함유하는 수용성 접착제를 포함하는, 액정 패널. - 제 12 항에 있어서,
상기 폴리비닐알코올계 수지를 함유하는 수용성 접착제가 추가로 금속 화합물 콜로이드를 포함하는, 액정 패널. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 위상차층의 파장 590 ㎚ 에 있어서의 두께 방향의 위상차값 (Rth1[590]) 이 100∼400 ㎚ 의 범위인, 액정 패널. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 위상차층이, 폴리이미드계 수지를 함유하는 위상차 필름 (B1), 셀룰로오스계 수지를 함유하는 위상차 필름 (B2), 및 상기 위상차 필름 (B1) 과 상기 위상차 필름 (B2) 의 적층체 (C) 중 어느 것인, 액정 패널. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 위상차층의 파장 590 ㎚ 에 있어서의 면내의 위상차값 (Re1[590]) 이 50∼200 ㎚ 의 범위인, 액정 패널. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 2 위상차층이 노르보르넨계 수지를 함유하는 위상차 필름 (A) 인, 액정 패널. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 액정 셀이 호메오트로픽 배열로 배향시킨 액정 분자를 포함하는, 액정 패널. - 액정 패널을 포함하는 액정 표시 장치로서,
상기 액정 패널이 제 1 항에 기재된 액정 패널인, 액정 표시 장치.
