Claims (22)
- 제 1 편광판;제 2 편광판; 및액정 셀을 포함하는 액정 패널로서,상기 제 1 편광판은 상기 액정 셀의 디스플레이면 측에 배치되고,상기 제 2 편광판은 상기 액정 셀의 이면 측에 배치되고,상기 제 1 편광판은 제 1 편광자 및 제 1 리타데이션 층을 포함하고, 상기 제 1 리타데이션 층은 상기 제 1 편광자와 상기 액정 셀 사이에 배치되고,상기 제 2 편광판은 제 2 편광자 및 제 2 리타데이션 층을 포함하고, 상기 제 2 리타데이션 층은 상기 제 2 편광자와 상기 액정 셀 사이에 배치되고,상기 제 1 리타데이션 층의 굴절률 타원체는 nx>ny≥nz 관계를 갖고,상기 제 2 리타데이션 층의 굴절률 타원체는 nx=ny>nz 관계를 갖고,상기 제 2 편광판의 투과율 (T2) 은 상기 제 1 편광판의 투과율 (T1) 보다 큰, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 편광판의 상기 투과율 (T2) 과 상기 제 1 편광판의 상기 투과율 (T1) 사이의 차 (△T=T2-T1) 는 0.1 내지 6.0% 범위에 있는, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정 셀은 호메오트로픽 배향의 액정 분자를 포함하는, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 편광판의 상기 투과율 (T1) 은 38.3% 내지 43.3% 범위에 있는, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 편광판의 상기 투과율 (T2) 은 41.1% 내지 44.3% 범위에 있는, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 편광판 및 상기 제 2 편광판 중 적어도 하나의 편광도는 적어도 99%인, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 편광자 및 상기 제 2 편광자 중 적어도 하나는 요오드 함유 폴리비닐 알콜계 수지를 포함하는, 액정 패널.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 편광자의 요오드 함유량 (I1) 과 상기 제 2 편광자의 요오드 함유량 (I2) 사이의 차 (△I=I1-I2) 는 0.1 내지 2.6wt% 범위에 있는, 액정 패널.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 편광자의 상기 요오드 함유량 (I1) 과 상기 제 2 편광자의 상기 요오드 함유량 (I2) 중 적어도 하나는 1.8 내지 5.0wt% 범위에 있는, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 리타데이션 층의 지상축은 상기 제 1 편광자의 흡수축과 직교하는, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,590 nm의 파장에서 상기 제 1 리타데이션 층의 면내 리타데이션 값 (Re1[590]) 은 50 내지 200 nm 범위에 있는, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 리타데이션 층의 상기 굴절률 타원체는 nx>ny>nz 관계를 갖는, 액정 패널.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,590 nm의 파장에서 두께 방향의 상기 제 1 리타데이션 층의 리타데이션 값 (Rth1[590]) 과 상기 590 nm의 파장에서 상기 제 1 리타데이션 층의 면내 리타데이션 값 (Re1[590]) 사이의 차 (Rth1[590]-Re1[590]) 는 10 내지 100 nm 범위에 있는, 액정 패널.
- 제 12 항에 있어서,590 nm의 파장에서 상기 제 1 리타데이션 층의 Nz 계수는 1.1 내지 3.0 범위에 있는, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 리타데이션 층은 노르보르넨계 수지 함유 리타데이션 막 (A) 인, 액정 패널.
- 제 15 항에 있어서,상기 노르보르넨계 수지 함유 리타데이션 막 (A) 은 고정단 연신 방법으로 제조된 막인, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,590 nm의 파장에서 두께 방향의 상기 제 2 리타데이션 층의 리타데이션 값 (Rth2[590]) 은 100 내지 400 nm 범위에 있는, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 2 리타데이션 층은 폴리이미드계 수지 함유 리타데이션 막 (B1), 셀룰로오스계 수지 함유 리타데이션 막 (B2), 및 상기 리타데이션 막 (B1) 과 상기 리타데이션 막 (B2) 의 적층체 (C) 중 어느 하나인, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제 1 편광자 및 상기 제 1 리타데이션 층의 적층과 상기 제 2 편광자 및 상기 제 2 리타데이션 층의 적층 중 적어도 하나에서, 상기 편광자 및 상기 리타데이션 층은 접착제층을 통해 적층되는, 액정 패널.
- 제 19 항에 있어서,상기 접착제층은 폴리비닐 알콜계 수지 함유 수용성 접착제를 포함하는, 액 정 패널.
- 제 20 항에 있어서,상기 폴리비닐 알콜계 수지 함유 수용성 접착제는 금속 화합물 콜로이드를 더 포함하는, 액정 패널.
- 제 1 항에 기재된 액정 패널을 포함하는, 액정 디스플레이.
