Claims (54)

- 서열번호:2의 아미노산 서열 또는 서열번호:2의 아미노산 서열의 활성 단편을 포함하는 단백질을 코딩하는 분리된 핵산분자.
- 제5항에 있어서, 적어도 하나의 발현 조절 서열에 작동가능하게 연결된 분리된 핵산분자.
- 제6항의 분리된 핵산분자로 트랜스포메이션 또는 트랜스펙션된 숙주 세포.
- 체세포 및 배아세포가 서열번호:1 또는 서열번호:3의 뉴클레오티드 서열을 포함하는 DNA를 함유하는 비인간 트랜스제닉 동물.
- 제4항의 분리된 핵산에 의해 코딩되는 아미노산 서열을 포함하는 분리된 단백질.
- 서열번호:2의 아미노산 서열 또는 그의 활성 단편을 포함하는 분리된 단백질.

- 서열번호:1 또는 서열번호:3의 뉴클레오티드, 또는 그의 단편을 포함하는 핵산분자에 대응하고, GITRL의 발현을 억제하는 siRNA 분자.
- 제10항의 단백질에 특이적으로 결합할 수 있는 분리된 항체.
- 제15항에 있어서, 항체가 GITRL 활성을 중화시키는 분리된 항체.

- 하기 단계를 포함하는, 개체(subject)에서 자가면역 질병, 염증성 질병 또는 이식거부를 진단하는 방법:개체로부터 얻은 샘플내의 GITRL 유전자 산물의 시험량을 검출하고; 및상기 시험량을 대조군 샘플내의 GITRL 유전자 산물의 양과 비교하며,정상적인 양보다 상당히 높은 시험량은 자가면역 질병, 염증성 질병 또는 이식거부에 대한 진단에서 양성 지표를 나타낸다.

- 제22항에 있어서, 자가면역질병 또는 염증성 질병은 류마티스 관절염, 뇌척수염, 골관절염, 다발 경화증, 자가면역 위염, 전신홍반 루프스, 건선과 다른 염증성 피부병, 타입 I 당뇨병, 천식, 알레르기, 및 크론병과 궤양 대장염을 포함하는 염증성 대장 질병으로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택되는 방법.
- 제22항에 있어서, 자가면역질병은 다발 경화증인 방법.
- 개체에 GITR 작용제를 투여하는 것을 포함하는, 암 또는 전염병으로 진단된 또는 위험이 있는 개체를 치료하는 방법.
- 제27항에 있어서, GITR 작용제가 개체내 작용 T 세포에 대해 공자극(costimulatory) 신호를 제공하고, 개체내에서 작용 T 세포가 CD4+CD25+ 조절 T 세포에 의한 억제에 덜 민감하도록 GITR 작용제를 투여하는 것을 포함하는 방법.
