Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 소정 간격을 두고 서로 대향되는 제1기판 및 제2기판과;상기 제1기판상의 일영역이 드러나도록 경사면을 갖고 형성된 절연막과;상기 제1기판상의 상기 절연막상에 일방향으로 형성된 게이트라인과;상기 게이트라인과 동일층에 형성되고, 상기 절연막의 경사면에 형성된 공통보조전극과,상기 게이트라인과 직교하는 방향으로 배열되어 화소영역을 정의하는 데이터라인과;상기 공통보조전극과 오버랩되도록 상기 화소영역에 형성된 화소전극과;상기 제2기판 상에 형성된 칼라필터층과;상기 칼라필터층을 포함한 제2기판상에 형성된 공통전극과;상기 화소영역에 대응되는 상기 공통전극상의 일영역에 형성된 유전체돌기와;상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 사이에 형성된 액정층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 소정 간격을 두고 서로 대향되는 제1기판 및 제2기판과;상기 제1기판상의 일영역이 드러나도록 경사면을 갖고 형성된 절연막과;상기 제1기판상의 상기 절연막상에 일방향으로 형성된 게이트라인과;상기 게이트라인 위에 형성된 게이트절연막과;상기 게이트절연막상에 형성되며 상기 게이트라인과 교차 배열되어 화소영역을 정의하는 데이터라인과;상기 데이터라인과 동일층에 형성되고, 상기 절연막의 경사면에 형성된 공통보조전극과,상기 공통보조전극과 오버랩되도록 상기 화소영역내에 형성된 화소전극과;상기 제2기판 상에 형성된 칼라필터층과;상기 칼라필터층을 포함한 제2기판상에 형성된 공통전극과;상기 화소영역에 대응되는 상기 공통전극상의 일영역에 형성된 유전체돌기와;상기 제1기판 및 제2기판 사이에 형성된 액정층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 공통보조전극은 상기 화소전극과 일정간격을 갖고, 상기 화소전극의 가장자리를 따라 오버랩되도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 공통보조전극은 상기 게이트라인과 동일물질로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제2항에 있어서,상기 공통보조전극은 상기 데이터라인과 동일물질로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 절연막은 벤조사이클로부텐(benzocyclobuten:BCB), 포토아크릴(photoacryl)계 수지(resin)등이 포함된 유기절연물질 그룹 중 선택된 하나로 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 유전체돌기는 상기 공통전극상에 상호 독립적으로 적어도 하나 이상이 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제1기판상의 일영역이 드러나도록 경사면을 갖는 절연막을 형성하는 단계;상기 제1기판상의 상기 절연막상에 일방향으로 게이트라인을 형성함과 동시에 상기 절연막의 경사면에 공통보조전극을 형성하는 단계;상기 게이트라인과 직교하는 방향으로 배열되어 화소영역을 정의하도록 데이터라인을 형성하는 단계;상기 공통보조전극과 오버랩되도록 상기 화소영역에 화소전극을 형성하는 단계;상기 제1기판의 화소영역에 대응되는 제2기판 상에 칼라필터층을 형성하는 단계;상기 칼라필터층을 포함한 상기 제2기판상에 공통전극을 형성하는 단계;상기 화소영역에 대응되는 상기 공통전극상의 일영역에 유전체돌기를 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자의 제조방법.
- 제1기판상에 절연막을 형성하는 단계;상기 절연막상에 일방향으로 게이트라인을 형성하는 단계;상기 게이트라인상에 게이트절연막을 형성하는 단계;상기 제1기판상의 일영역이 드러나며, 경사면을 갖도록 상기 게이트절연막과 절연막을 식각하는 단계;상기 게이트절연막상에 상기 게이트라인과 직교하는 방향으로 배열되어 화소영역을 정의하도록 데이터라인을 형성함과 동시에, 상기 절연막의 경사면에 공통보조전극을 형성하는 단계;상기 공통보조전극과 오버랩되도록 상기 화소영역에 화소전극을 형성하는 단계;상기 제1기판의 화소영역에 대응되는 제2기판 상에 칼라필터층을 형성하는 단계;상기 칼라필터층을 포함한 상기 제2기판상에 공통전극을 형성하는 단계;상기 화소영역에 대응되는 상기 공통전극상의 일영역에 유전체돌기를 형성하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자의 제조방법.
- 제8항 또는 제9항에 있어서,상기 절연막은 벤조사이클로부텐(benzocyclobuten:BCB), 포토아크릴(photoacryl)계 수지(resin)등이 포함된 유기절연물질 그룹 중 선택된 하나로 구성함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자의 제조방법.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 공통보조전극은 상기 게이트라인과 동일물질로 형성함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자의 제조방법.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 공통보조전극은 상기 데이터라인과 동일물질로 형성함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자의 제조방법.
- 제8항 또는 제9항에 있어서,상기 공통보조전극은 상기 화소전극과 일정간격을 갖고, 상기 화소전극의 가장자리를 따라 오버랩되도록 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자의 제조방법.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 화소영역에 대응되는 상기 공통전극 내에 전계 유도창이 더 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자.
- 제 8 항 또는 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 화소영역내에 대응되는 상기 공통전극내에 전계 유도창을 형성하는 단계를 더 포함함을 특징으로 하는 액정표시소자의 제조방법.
