Abstract
Description
Claims (9)
- 제1배향막이 도포된 제1기판에 제1편광된 광을 조사하여 제1프리틸트각을 부여하는 단계와, 제2배향막이 도포된 제2기판에 제2편광된 광을 조사하여 제2프리틸트각을 부여하는 단계와, 상기한 제1배향막과 제2배향막 사이에, 제1 및 제2배향막의 배향방향과 평행한 방향으로 액정을 주입하는 단계로 구성된 광을 이용한 벤드배향된 액정셀 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 제1배향막 및 제2배향막 중 적어도 하나의 배향막이, 폴리실록산계 물질을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광을 이용한 벤드배향된 액정셀 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 제1배향막에 광을 조사하는 단계에서 상기한 제1편광된 광이 상기한 제1배향막에 수직으로 조사되고, 상기한 제2배향막에 광을 조사하는 단계에서 상기한 제2편광된 광이 상기한 제2배향막에 수직으로 조사되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광을 이용한 벤드배향된 액정셀 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 제1 및 제2프리틸트각이 제1 및 제2편광된 광의 조사에너지의 크기에 따라 변하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광을 이용한 벤드배향된 액정셀 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 제1배향막 및 제2배향막 중 적어도 하나의 배향막이 PVCN-F(polyvinylfluorocinnamate)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광을 이용한 벤드배향된 액정셀 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 제1배향막의 배향방향이 상기한 제2배향막의 배향방향과 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 광을 이용한 벤드배향된 액정셀 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 제1 또는 제2편광된 광이 선형편광된 광인 것을 특징으로 하는 광을 이용한 벤드배향된 액정셀 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 제1 및 제2배향막에 광을 조사하는 단계에서, 상기한 제1 및 제2편광된 광의 조사에너지가 제1 및 제2프리틸트각이 45°이상이 되도록 조정하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광을 이용한 벤드배향된 액정셀 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 제1배향막과 제2배향막 사이에 액정을 주입하는 단계에서, 상기한 액정의 흐름효과가 상기한 제1 및 제2배향막의 프리틸트각방향 중 하나의 프리틸트각방향을 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광을 이용한 벤드배향된 액정셀 제조방법.
