Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance the filling efficiency without changing the outside arrangement of a motorcycle, which has an engine with supercharger mounted on the frame, by forming a resonance chamber in the frame.
CONSTITUTION: In a motorcycle, an engine E with supercharger is mounted on the frame F to which a head pipe 1 is fixed. A divergent line 31 is arranged from the suction passage 19 which is to connect the compressor of supercharger S to the suction port of engine. This shall be connected with a resonance chamber 32 formed by enclosing the hollow part of th main tubes of frame F. Accordingly, provision of a resonance chamber 32 does not require any alternation of the outside arrangement, that will assure a simplified construction. Further, the cooling effect of the frame gives a cooled suction air, that will enhance the filling efficiency of the engine.
