Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase the cooling efficiency of the subject cooling structure by providing a subradiator in the vicinity of a cooling air suction hole provided at a part which is brought in a negative pressure region at the time of traveling of car having a construction wherein a cooling air inlet port is provided at a relatively low position in front of a radiator.
CONSTITUTION: In a car wherein a radiator 11 is provided in front of a car 12, a radiator grill 14 having cooling air inlet port 13 at a relatively low position in front of the radiator 11, and a front panel 16 having at its front part a bumper at the upper part of the radiator 11, a cooling air suction port 17 is provided at a part of the front panel 16 which is brought in a negative pressure region at the time of traveling. A subradiator 18 is provided at the lower part of the suction hole 17, and is cooled by utilizing a fact that the cooling air which has flowed through an inlet port 23 at the time of traveling of the car flows upward by the negative pressure effect of the suction hole 17 part. This subradiator 18 is connected to the radiator 11 by means of a connecting pipe 20.
