下層:白金0.2g/L、アルミナ55g/L、セリア52g/L、ネオジウム酸化物8.4g/L
硝酸系白金溶液(白金0.2g相当を含む)、アルミナ60g、25m2/gのセリア47g、アルミナゾル(10wt%)60gを混合し、スラリー7を調製した。別途、硝酸系白金溶液(白金0.8g相当を含む)と硝酸ロジウム溶液(ロジウム0.2g相当を含む)、アルミナ40g、酸化セリウム安定化ジルコニア粉末(CeO2 12wt%)42g、アルミナゾル(10wt%)40gを混合し、スラリー8を調製した。
上層:白金0.8g/L、ロジウム0.2g/L、アルミナ44g/L、酸化セリウム安定化ジルコニア42g/L(ジルコニウム0.3モル/L、セリウム0.03モル/L)
下層:白金0.2g/L、アルミナ66g/L、セリア47g/L
硝酸ロジウム溶液(ロジウム0.1g相当を含む)、アルミナ40g、25m2/gのセリア52g、アルミナゾル(10wt%)60gを混合し、スラリー9を調製した。
上層:白金0.5g/L、ロジウム0.2g/L、アルミナ64g/L
下層:ロジウム0.1g/L、アルミナ46g/L、セリア52g/L
硝酸系白金溶液(白金1g相当を含む)と硝酸ロジウム溶液(ロジウム0.2g相当を含む)、アルミナ100g、100m2/gのセリア52g、アルミナゾル(10wt%)100gを混合し、スラリー10を調製した。
白金1g/L、ロジウム0.2g/L、アルミナ100g/L、セリア52g/L
硝酸系白金溶液(白金1g相当を含む)と硝酸ロジウム溶液(ロジウム0.2g相当を含む)、アルミナ100g、100m2/gのセリア52g、酸化ニッケル7.5g、アルミナゾル(10wt%)100gを混合し、スラリー11を調製した。
白金1g/L、ロジウム0.2g/L、アルミナ100g/L、セリア52g/L、酸化ニッケル7.5g/L
白金0.6g相当を含む硝酸系白金溶液をアルミナ60gに担持し、100m2/gのセリア47g、酸化ニッケル7.5g、アルミナゾル(10wt%)60gを加えて混合攪拌し、スラリー9を調製した。
上層:白金0.4g/L、ロジウム0.2g/L、アルミナ44g/L、酸化セリウム安定化ジルコニア42g/L(ジルコニウム0.3モル/L、セリウム0.03モル/L)
下層:白金0.6g/L、アルミナ66g/L、セリア47g/L、酸化ニッケル7.5g/L
1.H2S排出量測定
上記触媒を排気量4Lのエンジンにて、触媒入りガス温度800℃で5時間耐久させた後、排気量2.2Lのエンジンを有する実機車両へ搭載した。運転モードをLA♯4モードに設定して当該車両を走行させ、当該触媒のNOx、HC、COエミッション効果を測定した。NOxエミッションについての結果を表1及び図3に示す。
続いて、触媒コート層に使用した酸素貯蔵放出材の比表面積とH2S排出量の関係を検討した。最初に、100m2/gの比表面積を有するセリアを種々の温度で5時間電気炉焼成することにより、75、45、25m2/gの比表面積に低減させた。次に、これらの比表面積を有するセリアを用い、実施例1と同様の触媒成分組成を有する二層の触媒コート層から成る触媒を調製した。異なる比表面積を有するこれらの触媒のH2S浄化性能を上述のように測定した結果、セリアの比表面積が低下するほどH2S排出量が低減した。
Claims (7)
- 基材上に上層及び下層を含む少なくとも二層から成る触媒コート層が形成されており、前記上層が質量換算で前記下層よりも貴金属を基材1L当たり多く含み、
且つ前記下層がモル換算で前記上層よりも酸素貯蔵放出材を基材1L当たり多く含み、酸素貯蔵放出材の比表面積が30m 2 /g以下である、排ガス浄化用触媒。 - 前記上層に含まれる貴金属が白金及び/又はロジウムであり、前記下層に含まれる貴金属がパラジウム、ロジウム及び/又は白金である、請求項1に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
- 下層に含まれる白金量が基材1L当たり0.3g以下である、請求項1又は2に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
- 前記酸素貯蔵放出材がセリアを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
- 上層に含まれる前記酸素貯蔵放出材が、基材1L当たり0.08モル以下のセリウムを含む、請求項4に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
- 上層の触媒コート層が前記酸素貯蔵放出材を含まない、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
- 上層及び/又は下層の触媒コート層がネオジウムを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の排ガス浄化用触媒。
