Description
ATCU20は、車速とアクセルペダル操作量とに基づき所定の変速マップを参照することで最適な指令変速段を選択し、指令変速段が達成されるようCVU30に制御指令を出力する。
ATCU20は、変速時間の短縮及び変速ショックを低減するために、回転同期制御を行う。この回転同期制御によれば、変速時は、変速前の変速段で動力伝達する摩擦締結要素を解放した後、エンジン回転速度を変速後のエンジン回転速度に近づけるようにエンジン出力を制御してエンジン回転速度を変速後のエンジン回転速度に近づける。そして、エンジン回転速度が変速後のエンジン回転速度に近づいたところで変速後の変速段で動力伝達する摩擦締結要素を締結する。この回転同期制御はダウンシフト時に行うのが好適であるが、アップシフト時に行うようにしてもよい。
ATCU20は、変速時の動特性が目標とする動特性になるように作動油圧の補正を行う。具体的には、変速指令が出されてから変速が完了するまでの時間(変速時間)が所望の変速時間(目標変速時間)となるように、実変速時間と目標変速時間の偏差に基づき、摩擦締結要素に供給する作動油圧を補正する。これは個体差により初期作動油圧にバラつきがあり変速時間が異なるので、これを修正するためである。
また、上記構成の自動変速機では、第2切換弁41がバリなどを噛み込むことで開弁位置にスティックし(以下、「常開故障」という。)、さらにその後に調圧弁39が油圧供給位置にスティックしたときには、第2油圧室38へ常時油圧が供給される。そして、その後の変速によってローブレーキB2以外のクラッチ又はブレーキがローブレーキB2と同時に締結されると、変速機がインターロックを起こし、駆動力を伝達できなくなる。

Claims (6)
- 遊星歯車と、複数の摩擦締結要素とを備え、前記複数の摩擦締結要素の締結解放状態を切り換えることで複数の変速段を実現する自動変速機において、
前記複数の摩擦締結要素のうち少なくとも1つの摩擦締結要素は、第1油圧室及び第2油圧室を備え、前記第1油圧室及び前記第2油圧室への作動油圧の供給状態を変更することで締結容量を変更することが可能な容量可変摩擦締結要素であり、
前記自動変速機が、
元圧から前記容量可変摩擦締結要素に供給する作動油圧を調圧する調圧弁と、
前記調圧弁と前記第1油圧室を接続する第1油路と、
前記調圧弁と前記第2油圧室を接続する第2油路と、
前記第2油路に設けられ、前記第2油路の連通状態を切り換える切換弁と、
前記容量可変摩擦締結要素を解放状態とする第1変速段から、前記容量可変摩擦締結要素を締結状態とする第2変速段への変速時に、前記切換弁により前記第2油路を非連通状態とし、前記調圧弁から前記第1油圧室にのみ油圧を供給するようにする切換弁制御手段と、
変速時の動特性が目標とする動特性に近づくように前記作動油圧を補正する学習制御手段と、
前記学習制御手段により補正された前記作動油圧に基づき前記第1変速段から前記第2変速段への変速が行われる時、当該変速時の動特性を表すパラメータに基づき、前記切換弁が前記第2油路を連通状態にしたままになる常開故障を起こしているか判定する故障判定手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする自動変速機。 - ロックアップクラッチ付きトルクコンバータを備え、
前記故障判定手段は、前記ロックアップクラッチが解放されているときは前記常開故障の判定を行わないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動変速機。 - 変速時に、変速前の変速段で動力伝達する摩擦締結要素を解放し、エンジン回転速度を変速後のエンジン回転速度に近づけるようにエンジン出力を制御し、エンジン回転速度を変速後のエンジン回転速度に近づけた後に変速後の変速段で動力伝達する摩擦締結要素を締結する回転同期制御手段を備え、
前記故障判定手段は、前記回転同期制御手段によるエンジン回転速度制御が行われているときは前記常開故障の判定を行わないことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の自動変速機。 - 前記故障判定手段は、コースト走行状態における前記第1変速段から前記第2変速段への変速時動特性を表すパラメータに基づいて前記常開故障の判定を行うことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の自動変速機。
- 前記故障判定手段により前記切換弁が常開故障を起こしていると連続して判定されたドライブサイクル数が複数回続いたとき、一部の変速段への変速を制限するフェール制御手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の自動変速機。
- 前記一部の変速段は、前記可変容量摩擦締結要素と同時に締結するとインターロックを生じる摩擦締結要素を締結状態とする変速段であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の自動変速機。
