Description
(1) 作動流体が流通可能な流路を有するシャフトと、該シャフトの先端部に前記流路と内部が連通するように設けられた拡張・収縮可能な拡張体とを備える拡張体付カテーテルであって、
前記拡張体の外側に被せられ、前記流路を介して前記拡張体内に作動流体を流入させたときに前記拡張体が拡張するのを許容する程度の伸縮性を有する筒状の外側スリーブを備え、
前記外側スリーブは、前記拡張体の収縮時には閉じ、前記拡張体の拡張時には開く少なくとも一つのスリットを有し、
前記外側スリーブの外面は、高い潤滑性を呈する高潤滑性処理が施されており、前記拡張体の外面は、それより低い潤滑性を呈する低潤滑性処理が施されているかまたは潤滑性処理が施されていないことを特徴とする拡張体付カテーテル。
図1は、本発明の拡張体付カテーテルの第1実施形態における収縮状態の拡張体付近を示す側面図、図2および図3は、それぞれ、図1に示す拡張体付カテーテルにおける拡張状態の拡張体付近を示す側面図および縦断面図、図4は、図1に示す拡張体付カテーテルにおける収縮状態の拡張体および内管の横断面図、図5は、図1に示す拡張体付カテーテルにおける拡張状態の拡張体付近の横断面図、図6は、外側スリーブのスリットの他の構成例を説明するための側面図である。なお、以下では、説明の都合上、図1ないし図3中の右側を「基端」、左側を「先端」と言う。
これにより、拡張体3を拡張させた際に、拡張体3および外側スリーブ4で形成される狭窄部との接触面のなかに潤滑性の乏しい面が存在することとなり、狭窄部100との摩擦をより高めることができ、よって、高圧で拡張体3を拡張させたような場合であっても狭窄部100から拡張体3が滑ってずれるのをより確実に防止することができる。
図7は、本発明の拡張体付カテーテルの第2実施形態における収縮状態の拡張体付近を示す側面図である。
本実施形態では、前記第1実施形態と同様の効果が得られる。
図8は、本発明の拡張体付カテーテルの第3実施形態における収縮状態の拡張体付近を示す側面図である。
図9は、本発明の拡張体付カテーテルの第4実施形態における収縮状態の拡張体付近を示す側面図である。
図10は、本発明の拡張体付カテーテルの第5実施形態における拡張状態の拡張体付近を示す縦断面図である。
図11は、本発明の拡張体付カテーテルの第6実施形態における拡張状態の拡張体付近を示す縦断面図である。
図12は、本発明の拡張体付カテーテルの第7実施形態における拡張状態の拡張体付近を示す縦断面図である。

Claims (13)
- 作動流体が流通可能な流路を有するシャフトと、該シャフトの先端部に前記流路と内部が連通するように設けられた拡張・収縮可能な拡張体とを備える拡張体付カテーテルであって、
前記拡張体の外側に被せられ、前記流路を介して前記拡張体内に作動流体を流入させたときに前記拡張体が拡張するのを許容する程度の伸縮性を有する筒状の外側スリーブを備え、
前記外側スリーブは、前記拡張体の収縮時には閉じ、前記拡張体の拡張時には開く少なくとも一つのスリットを有し、
前記外側スリーブの外面は、高い潤滑性を呈する高潤滑性処理が施されており、前記拡張体の外面は、それより低い潤滑性を呈する低潤滑性処理が施されているかまたは潤滑性処理が施されていないことを特徴とする拡張体付カテーテル。 - 前記外側スリーブは、前記拡張体の外面に密着している請求項1に記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
- 前記外側スリーブは、前記拡張体の外面に締着している請求項1または2に記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
- 前記拡張体は、拡張する前、前記シャフトの先端部に折り畳まれた状態で設けられている請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
- 前記外側スリーブの自然状態における内径は、前記折り畳まれた拡張体の最大外径以下である請求項4に記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
- 前記外側スリーブの先端部は、前記拡張体の先端部および/または前記シャフトに固着されている請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
- 前記外側スリーブの基端部は、前記拡張体の基端部および/または前記シャフトに固着されている請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
- 前記スリットは、前記外側スリーブの長手方向に平行または前記長手方向に対して斜めに形成されている請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
- 前記外側スリーブには、その周方向に沿って複数の前記スリットが間欠的に形成されている請求項8に記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
- 前記外側スリーブには、その長手方向に沿って複数の前記スリットが間欠的に形成されている請求項8または9に記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
- 前記スリットは、前記外側スリーブの中心軸を中心とする螺旋状に形成されている請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
- 前記外側スリーブの先端側部分と基端側部分とで前記スリットの形成態様に差異を有する請求項1ないし11のいずれかに記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
- 前記スリットの形成態様の差異は、スリットの長さ、幅、方向、形状および形成密度のうちの少なくとも一つについての差異である請求項12に記載の拡張体付カテーテル。
