Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の固体酸化物形燃料電池(10)の製造方法は、多孔質電極層(11)と、多孔質電極層(11)上に形成された金属酸化物膜(12)からなる電解質層とを含む固体酸化物形燃料電池(10)の製造方法であって、金属源を含む金属酸化物膜形成用溶液(1)を、加熱した多孔質電極層(11)上に接触させることにより金属酸化物膜(12)を形成することを特徴とする。

金属源を含む金属酸化物膜形成用溶液を、加熱した前記多孔質電極層上に接触させることにより前記金属酸化物膜を形成することを特徴とする。
金属源を含む金属酸化物膜形成用ゾルを、加熱した前記多孔質電極層上に接触させることにより前記金属酸化物膜を形成することを特徴とする。

本実施例では、上述した図1Cに示すような構造を有する単セルを作製した。まず、NiO粉末(粒径範囲:0.01〜10μm、平均粒径:1μm)、SDC(Ce:Sm:O=0.8:0.2:1.9)粉末(粒径範囲:1〜10μm、平均粒径:0.1μm)及びアセチレンブラックを、質量比(NiO:SDC:アセチレンブラック)が45:50:5となるようにエタノールに加え、これらをエタノール中で粉砕しながら混合した。次に、これらを乾燥して充分にエタノールを揮発させた後、一軸プレスにて成形し、セラミックスカッターにより所定の寸法に切断(トリミング)した。そして、これを1400℃で5時間焼結して、多孔質電極層となる多孔質燃料極基板(厚み:0.5mm)を作製した。
実施例2は、上述した実施例1に対し、電解質層の形成方法のみが異なるので、電解質層の形成方法のみ説明する。
実施例3は、上述した実施例1に対し、電解質層の形成方法のみが異なるので、電解質層の形成方法のみ説明する。
実施例4は、上述した実施例1に対し、電解質層の形成方法のみが異なるので、電解質層の形成方法のみ説明する。
比較例として、以下に示す方法で単セルを作製した。
上述した各単セルの電池性能を下記に示す方法で評価した。

Claims (21)
- 多孔質電極層と、前記多孔質電極層上に形成された金属酸化物膜からなる電解質層とを含む固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法であって、
金属源を含む金属酸化物膜形成用溶液を、加熱した前記多孔質電極層上に接触させることにより前記金属酸化物膜を形成することを特徴とする固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。 - 前記金属酸化物膜形成用溶液を前記多孔質電極層上に接触させる際、前記金属源を構成する金属元素が酸素と結合して前記多孔質電極層上に前記金属酸化物膜が形成される最低温度以上に前記多孔質電極層を加熱する請求項1に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属酸化物膜形成用溶液を前記多孔質電極層上に噴霧することによって、前記金属酸化物膜形成用溶液を前記多孔質電極層上に接触させて前記金属酸化物膜を形成する請求項1又は請求項2に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属酸化物膜形成用溶液は、酸化剤及び還元剤から選ばれる少なくとも一つを更に含む請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属酸化物膜形成用溶液は、塩素酸イオン、過塩素酸イオン、亜塩素酸イオン、次亜塩素酸イオン、臭素酸イオン、次臭素酸イオン、硝酸イオン及び亜硝酸イオンから選ばれる少なくとも一つのイオン種を更に含む請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 多孔質電極層と、前記多孔質電極層上に形成された金属酸化物膜からなる電解質層とを含む固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法であって、
金属源を含む金属酸化物膜形成用ゾルを、加熱した前記多孔質電極層上に接触させることにより前記金属酸化物膜を形成することを特徴とする固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。 - 前記金属酸化物膜形成用ゾルを前記多孔質電極層上に接触させる際、前記金属源を構成する金属元素が酸素と結合して前記多孔質電極層上に前記金属酸化物膜が形成される最低温度以上に前記多孔質電極層を加熱する請求項6に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属酸化物膜形成用ゾルを前記多孔質電極層上に噴霧することによって、前記金属酸化物膜形成用ゾルを前記多孔質電極層上に接触させて前記金属酸化物膜を形成する請求項6又は請求項7に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属酸化物膜形成用ゾルは、酸化剤及び還元剤から選ばれる少なくとも一つを更に含む請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属酸化物膜形成用ゾルは、塩素酸イオン、過塩素酸イオン、亜塩素酸イオン、次亜塩素酸イオン、臭素酸イオン、次臭素酸イオン、硝酸イオン及び亜硝酸イオンから選ばれる少なくとも一つのイオン種を更に含む請求項6〜9のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属源は、金属塩、金属錯体及び有機金属化合物から選ばれる少なくとも一つである請求項1,2,6,7のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属源は、Ca、Cr、Sr、Nb、Mo、Sb、Te、Ba、W、Mg、Al、Si、Ti、V、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu、Zn、Y、Zr、Ag、In、Sn、Ce、Sm、Pb、La、Hf、Sc、Gd、Ga及びTaから選ばれる少なくとも一つの金属元素を含む請求項1,2,6,7,11のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属酸化物膜は、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化セリウム及び酸化ランタンから選ばれる少なくとも一つを含む複合金属酸化物から構成されている請求項1〜3,6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記複合金属酸化物は、蛍石型又はペロブスカイト型の結晶構造を有する請求項13に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記多孔質電極層は燃料極層であり、かつ、蛍石型又はペロブスカイト型の結晶構造を有する酸化物イオン伝導体と金属触媒とを含む請求項1〜3,6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記多孔質電極層は空気極層であり、かつ、ペロブスカイト型の結晶構造を有する金属酸化物及び貴金属から選ばれる少なくとも一つを含む請求項1〜3,6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属酸化物膜は、前記金属酸化物膜の積層方向に結晶成長した柱状構造を有する結晶の集合体を含む請求項1〜3,6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記結晶における前記金属酸化物膜の積層方向の結晶長さを、前記結晶における前記金属酸化物膜の積層方向と直交する方向の結晶径で除した値が、2以上である請求項17に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属酸化物膜のうち前記多孔質電極層上に存在する領域の厚みが、10nm以上10μm以下である請求項1〜3,6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属酸化物膜のうち前記多孔質電極層上に存在する領域の厚みが、100nm以上1μm以下である請求項19に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属酸化物膜の一部は、前記多孔質電極層内の気孔を形成する壁面の少なくとも一部を被覆している請求項1〜3,6〜8,19,20のいずれか1項に記載の固体酸化物形燃料電池の製造方法。
