Abstract
791,110. Scaffolding. ROHREN - UND ROHEISEN-GROSSHANDEL GES. Nov. 20, 1956, No. 35505/56. Class 20(2) A connecting element for tubular scaffolding comprises a tube, on each of the ends of which is clamped a half shell of a scaffold tube clamp pivotally connected to the other half shell, each of the half shells having an attachment on which tubes disposed one above the other can be fitted. An end tube section 2, rigidly connects a tube 1 to a fixed half shell 3, upon which is pivoted a movable half shell 5 by a pin 4. Tubular spigots 6 and 7 connected to the half shells present means of fixing vertical scaffolding tubes 8 and 9 when the half shells are clamped around a horizontal scaffolding tube 10. An extension 11, fitted at right angles to the spigots, serves as a bracket. In an alternative embodiment (not shown) the spigots 6 and 7 may take the form of sockets for scaffolding tubes.
