Abstract

863,855. Scaffolding and shuttering. SCAFFOLDING (GREAT BRITAIN) Ltd. April 18, 1958 [April 18, 1957; July 20, 1957; Oct. 1, 1957], Nos. 12768/57, 23045/57 and 30616/57. Class 20(2) Shuttering 34 on a platform for workmen is supported, by props each comprising two telescoping tubes 10, 11 secured by a pin 13 and extendable by a screw 15, the props being connected by rods 20 having spigots which fit into circular, rectangular or wedge shaped sockets 18 welded around the tubes 10, and by rods 33 fitted to similar sockets arranged around a sleeve 26 which is slidably disposed on the tube 11. The sleeve 26 is secured by a pin inserted through holes in the sleeve and tube.
