Abstract
877,463. Scaffolding. BURTON, J. Nov. 9, 1959 [Aug. 8, 1958], No. 25435/58. Class 20(2) A scaffold frame comprises a horizontal tube 11 carrying clamps 12 at each end and braces 17 carrying clamps 18 vertically below the clamps 12, the clamps being arranged to clamp on to vertical scaffold tubes 13 which may be vertically adjusted to allow for ground slope. Two vertical tubes may be joined by a frame or frames and pairs of such tubes joined by ledges in clamps 23. In a modified frame Fig. 5 (not shown) the ledger clamps 23 are omitted and the clamps are at the ends of the tubes 11 and braces 17 and may be used to construct a scaffold tower.
