Abstract
627,391. Manure distributers. AKTIESELSKABET GYRO SKIVE JERNSTOBERI & MASKINFABRIK. Sept. 10, 1347, No. 24856. Convention date, Nov. 9, 1946. [Class 6(i)] Relates to manure distributers of the kind having an elongated hopper 2, mounted on a wheeled frame 3, the hopper having bottom orifices throughwhich manure passes to pans rotating about vertical axes. According to the invention, the pans are situated at a level lower than the tops of the land-wheels and scatter material forwardly of the hopper. The hopper 2 is mounted on the frame 3 in front of the land wheels 1 and the pans are driven therefrom by chains 16, 17. The hopper, which is longer than the distance between the land wheels, is rotatable about a horizontal pivot 7 into a longitudinal, transport position 2<SP>1</SP>. In order to render this possible, one of the land wheels is readily removable and the frame is supported on this side by a retractible jack 18. Pins 12, 13 secure the hopper in its working position.
