541,439. Alloys. PADOVA, H. Aug. 27, 1940, No. 13499. [Class 82 (i)] A corrosion-resistant alloy for pen nibs, electric contacts, dental fittings &c. consists.of 50-85 parts of silver, 10-25 parts of palladium, 0.3-25 per cent. of copper and 0.1-5 pent cent. of nickel, iron, cobalt, chromium or manganese, preferably nickel, with or without small amounts of one or more of the metals gold, platinum, iridium, osmium, rhodium, ruthenium, zinc, cadmium, and tin.
