Abstract
556,236. Silver alloys. WILSON CO., H. A. Nov. 2, 1942, No. 15406. Convention date, Oct. 29, 1941. [Class 82 (i)] [Also in Group XXXVII] To aviod sticking of contacts a contact combination comprises a cathod of silver or silver alloyed with up to 30 per cent. platinum or palladium and a co-operating anode of silver alloyed with up to 10 per cent. of tin. The anode may be further alloyed with copper or cadmium. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also anode contacts of silver alloyed with copper up to 20 per cent., gold up to 30 per cent., and mercury up to 20 per cent. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
