Abstract
521,774. Alloys. MALLORY METALLURGICAL PRODUCTS, Ltd. (Mallory & Co., Inc., P. R.). Nov. 25, 1938, Nos. 34433/38 and 7877/39. [Class 82 (i)] [Also in Group XXXVII] Alloys, particularly for electric contacts, consist of silver with 0À1 - 5 per cent. of nickel, 0À5 - 25 per cent. of cadmium, and 0À5 - 35 per cent. of copper. For D.C. purposes, the alloys may be used for the positive side, the negative side being either silver or a silver alloy substantially free from cadmium, examples'of such alloys being silver containing nickel, cobalt, iron, or manganese, or noble metal such as one or more of the metals palladium, platinum, or gold.
