Sept. 12, 1932, No. 35168/33. Divided on 405,378, [Group VII]. [Classes 12 (ii) and 12 (iii).] In a lock-stitch sewing-machine the bearing faces between the rotary hook 3 and ring 8 fixed thereto and the stationary bobbin case 13 are lubricated by a felt pad or wick 27 carried in a slot in the hook 3. As the hook 3 rotates, the pad 27 wipes against and receives lubricant from a wick 25 protruding from a reservoir 22 secured to the inside of the hollow work arm 1 by a tubular screw 23. Specification 117,136, [Class 112], is referred to.
