405,378. Sewing-machines. SINGER MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., Singer, Clydebank, CORRALL, H., St. Alban, Helensburgh, Dumbartonshire, and HEGGIE, J., 7, Drumry Road, Clydebank. Sept. 12, 1932, No. 25330. [Class 112.] A rotary looper for a lock-stitch sewing- machine comprises a bearing ring 8 which is screwed to a cup 3 on the looper shaft and forms an open raceway with a bearing ring 15 screwed to the bobbin case 13. The ring 8 is formed with a hook 9 and heel 10, the gap between them being bridged by a guard 11. Rotation of the bobbin case 13 is prevented by a rib 16 which engages a notched bar 18. The bobbin case is held in the cup 3 by a pivoted spring 31. The lubrication of the raceway is described in Specification 406,628. Specification 117,136, [Class 112, Sewing &c.], also is referred to.
