Abstract

383,635. Endless chain conveyers. CAMPBELL, T. M., 32, Rhyme Road, London. May 9, 1931, No. 13780. [Class 78 (i).] In conveyer chains of the type having an integral joint pin a at one end and a socket b at right-angles at the other, so as to be flexible in two directions, one of the side members c<2> of each alternate link is extended to form a platform. The sockets b are slotted at b<1> and one side c<1> of each link is cut away at a<1> near the pin so as to allow the pin to engage the socket by a lateral sliding and turning movement. The spaces d in the links are engaged by vertical and horizontal sprockets for driving and guiding. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 342,820.
