Abstract

194,990. Randall, W. June 21, 1922. Washing - machines with brushing - apparatus.-A brush 1 is reciprocated along a block 11 by a crank-pin and slotted lever mechanism, the pin 6 being adjustably fitted in a disc 7 driven by a pulley 9 on a shaft 8. The block 11 is normally spring pressed away from the brush and is moved into operative position by a pedal 15 or other lever, a bearing 14 in the base of the tub being provided for the shaft 13 carrying the block.
