Just remembered me and my cat’s fav summer viewing is back – the Katmai bear web cams! Watch bears perched on the ledge of a low waterfall catch salmon in their mouths, seagulls fight over the leavings, salmon valiantly leap towards the falls again and again, bears just hanging in the cold, fast moving water. I watched their “bear meditation” a couple nights ago and it was not especially well edited but half an hour of Alaskan bears and wildlife put me in the headspace for sleep.

I haven’t decided if it’s stimulating or mean to show my cat nature videos 🤷‍♀️ She desperately loves them but she’s an indoor cat so she’ll never get to hunt for real. Sometimes she gets so excited she tries to attack the TV 😂
