The student council Election: This was the most excited time in the year as we were contesting in a
democratic election. It was also exciting because we were casting our first votes. This gives us a
responsibility for electing a good and wise leader. After the results the investiture ceremony was also
incredible to witness.
The annual sports meet also was indeed a magnificent programme. They made us to build up
sportsman’s spirit and all our athletes were at their best.
The annual day was spectacular. The naya arambh had mr. m k thalitayya, senior vice president of MRPL
Mangaluru as their chief guest. The theme of cultural events “ONE EARTH, ONE FAMILY, ONE FUTURE”
was brilliantly portrayed
The MUN: Last year our school conducted a quiz from Grade 7 to Grade 9. The students were told to
prepare on general knowledge and they did. After announcing the results they said us that 50 students
were selected for MUN that is Model United Nations and those 50 were selected through this quiz. It’s an
interesting platform where student discuss on the current affairs like global warming, corruption and soo
on and discuss on the solutions for the problems.
The valedictory ceremony for grade 10 was also great. The invitation of the farewell was creatively
crafted in the form of a reel by the talented grade 9 students. The school also honoured the best student
(girl and boy) of the year. As a token of appreciation of love, valedictory sachets and scrolls were given to
the graduates.
Shashank: You know, there are several aspects I really appreciate about our
school. For instance , the punctuality is commendable. We need to be there by
8:20 am, and students abide by the rule.on time arrival teaches us to value time .
Arpitha: Absolutely i agree . The regular assemblies are fantastic too. They
happen on alternate days and instill values to respect time ,sense of gratitude
and faith and very crucial discipline. Plus, they include a prayer, thought of the
day, news of the day , a special presentation, fun facts, and a general
knowledge quiz. All the above mentioned activities are performed by students
from grade 3 to 10 as per the fixed schedule.
Shashank: On special days, the assemblies are even more elaborate, featuring
special talks, skits, and various programs. Celebrations for Environment Day,
Hindi Diwas, World Day Against Child Labour, Guru Purnima, and Kargil
Vijay Diwas are celebrated with a view to broden the horizons of children and
to provide platform to shape their prespective and abilities.
Arpitha: Indeed. The student council election is one of the most exciting times
of the year. It's thrilling to participate in a democratic election and to cast our
first votes. The investiture ceremony after the results is also quite remarkable.
Arpitha: True, and I also love how the school integrates the Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) into our curriculum. It makes understanding and
implementing these goals in real life much more practical.
Shashank : pls throw light on the term SDG, so as to bring clarity in our
converstions .
Arpita : No , u have misunderstood .SDG goals are the blueprint for shared
prosperity and peace of the world , by devising strategies to protect environment
, reduce poverty and spur economis growth and many more.
Shashank: Speaking of practical learning, the competitions are excellent. For
instance, National Doctor's Day honors our heroes, while the pickle-making
competition promotes economic growth through local products.
Arpitha: Yes, and the doll-making competition, where we use old but clean
clothes, teaches us about responsible production and consumption. The mask-
making competition raises awareness of endangered species, and the popup
greeting card making celebrates Independence Day.
Arpitha: MUN was the buzz word in our campus naaa! Last year 50 students
were selected for the Model United Nations based on their performance in quiz
and general knowledge quiz conducted in school.. It’s a fascinating platform
where we discuss current issues like global warming and corruption and
brainstorm solutions nd students are trained by mentors.
Arpita : we are restricting our converstions to only academics thats not the

environment outside the boundries of the school.
