ANNUAL REPORT

Good evening distinguished guests of honour esteemed parents, dear colleagues and
beloved students, cordially welcoming you all to the 47th Annual day celebrations of our
school. I feel extremely honoured to present a concise report of the academic year 2024- 25.
On this joyous accession of our annual day we extend our sincere gratitude to the
almighty for the boundless blessings and care showered up on us throughout this year.
Opening. This academic session began on a high note on 03rd June 2024, it was
heartening to welcome both our retuning students and new members of the Josephite family.
We implemented several innovative programmes this your to enhance the learning
experience. Rev. Father Lucius OCD, Vazhuvady and Rev. Father Mary Das OCD
blessed the occasion. Classes for K.G section started on 5th June 2014.
ISSE Result of March 2024. The results of the previous year were truly commendable.
Our students achieved 100% pass in the board examinations. Kumari Aiswaraya topped the
list by 94%. We are proud of our students and teachers for their relentless efforts in upholding
academic excellence.
Strength. The school now caters to _____ students, with a faculty strength of ______
qualified teachers and support staff of _______ dedicated members. We are growing not
only in numbers but also in the quality of education and facilities provided. 52 of our 10 th
standard students are preparing for the ICSE board examination which is going to be held
from 18 February 2025.
House System. Our house system comprising ruby, sapphire, emerald and diamond
continued to inspire team spirit and healthy competition. Various inter house competitions
were conducted to nurture, leadership and friendship. The competitions started
on 24th June.
Clubs. Our school has an array of active clubs aimed at the holistic development of
students. The clubs include, Science club, Literary club, Maths club, and Social Science
club. The activities of these clubs began on 5th July 2024.
Special days and events. This year witnessed a range of special celebrations and
events. Independence day, International Yoga day, Environmental day, Teachers day,
Children’s day, Gandhi Jayanti reading week etc, were conducted with enthusiastic
participation of Josphites.
Picnic. Outdoor learning was emphasized through well planned excursions and picnics. The
Grade 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th students visited Wayanad and Ooty, enriching their knowledge
of history and heritage Grade one to eight enjoyed a memorable picnic at Silver storm and
snow storm fostering team spirit and relaxation.
Holy Mass and Prayer services. Holy Eucharistic celebration is held every month and an
occasional prayer service to cater the psycho- spiritual needs of the students.
Social Awareness and Value Education. We firmly believe in nurturing responsible
citizens. This year we organized several activities to instill values and social awareness.
Cleanliness drives, in collaboration with eco club. Students participated in neighborhood
cleanup campaigns, charity events and visit to old age homes etc.
Examination and Open houses. To ensure transparency and regular feedback
semester vice examination were conducted, followed by open house for parents. These
interaction helped bridge gaps and address concerns to support student progress.

Arts and Sports. This year, the school excelled in the arts and sports. Arts day celebrated
on 16th August 2024 and sports day celebrated on 22nd November 2024. Our students
showcased their talents in both arts and sports.
Arts achievements. Our children participated in ASISCE cultural programmes in the Zonal
and Inter Zonal competitions, YMCA children’s day competition and excelled in most of the
competitions.
Sports Achievements. Our schools under 14 boys basketball team became the champions
in CISCE State Basketball Tournament held at Don Bosco School, Mannuthy and became
the runner-up in CISCE B Zone Basketball tournament held at St Ann’s Public School,
Cherthala.
Under 10 boys team become the runner-up in Leo XIII all Kerala Inter School
Basketball tournament. Our school hosted CISCE B Zone Basketball tournament 2024 and
14 school team participated in three categories. Also hosted second all Kerala inter school
basketball tournament for St Joseph trophy and ensured participation of 20 schools. Our
school under 10 boys and under 14 girls became champions. Under 14 boys team and Under
17 boys team became the runners-up.
Our school also participated in the Girideepam trophy South Indian Basketball
tournament. Able James represented Under 14 Indian ICSE basketball team in National
school games held at Chattisgarh. Abel James and Abhishek P Nair represented under 14
boys Kerala basketball team in the CISCE National Basketball championship held at Noida,
Uttar Pradesh. Shivani Ajeesh represented Under 14 girls Kerala Basketball team in the
CISCE National Basketball championship held at Bhopal. Madhyapradesh. Umarul Anub
represented under 14 boys Alapuzha Cricket team in the state cricket tournament.
Nallapadam. The nallapadam initiative is a testament to our commitment to fostering a
sense of social responsibility and ethical values among students and communities. This year
our team arranged visits to orphanages and old age homes and Autism centres at
Punamoodu, Elenjimel and Kollakadavu to ensure community outreach. They started a
vegetable garden in the school ground and conducted food fest as a part of charity.
Scholarship. The scholarship programme has been a corner stone of our mission to
promote education and support talented individuals. Students also participated and excelled
in different scholarship examinations organized by PCM, ASISC etc.
Counseling classes. Recognizing the importance of mental well-being and emotional
resilience, we introduced counselling classes about cybercrime and adolescent problems and
solutions.
Conclusion. As we conclude this year’s report, we would like to express our deepest
gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the success of our initiatives. To our dedicated
team and volunteers for their tireless efforts and support from students, parents and well-
wishers. Together, we have made a meaningful impact and we are excited to continue this
journey of growth and positive transformation in the years to come.
