      I've listened to a few crime audiobooks but this one was different because the characters were so well fleshed out.

      I definitely knew the author had done a great job when I absolutely loathed one of the characters (you'll know who I'm talking about once you start reading).

      Plot wise, the twist wasn't insane or anything, but I was still entertained from beginning to end.

      Easy read
      Very much kept my attention. Loved the maun characters though one over obviously everyone was irritated by. Will read lots more in this series

      I didn't realize this is part of a series, but I like it. Not enough suspense, but if you're looking for a light read, this is a good one to immerse yourself in. I'll read the rest of the books in the series.

      Very predictable. Parts of the story could have been used to make it more of a thriller than what it was. I'll still go to the start of this series and read these books as a way to pass the time. But I'll be able to put the book down.

      I liked this book, however I didn't realize it was book 9 in the series. I always hate when I do this. I would have given it more stars except for the fact I didn't love the narration. Otherwise it was a pretty good story.

      Totally captivating, well read. Complicated plot which keeps the listener totally enthralled. I am partially sighed so listening is my go to........if the reader does not have the right voice then its a no go. In this case, the reader does a first class job.

      This is actually the first book in this series (& by this author) I have read. It sounded good and the blurb said it could be read as a stand-alone novel. I enjoyed it. I plan to read the rest of the books in the series now, but as a stand-alone story, it was still a good mystery.

      Wow. What a waste of time. Thankfully this is the only book I've read from this series. Can you imagine there are a bunch of them out there. Haha
