UFOlogy

October 10, 2023 update.
After an effort of many years, I have prepared a comprehensive timeline of UFO history that will be useful to UFO researchers and historians. “UFOs and Intelligence” is an up-to-date retrospective of UFO history (from Agobard of Lyons to the newly appointed US investigation agency UAPTF), intertwined with events in US and world history concerning military and civilian intelligence agencies and the cult of secrecy. It is now 679 pages and more than 555,000 words (including a substantial “Sources and Further Reading” appendix). Readers will discover or rediscover many events, people, and UFO cases they may not be familiar with. Some will find it useful for current or planned research projects. Military cases, those involving commercial aircraft, close encounters involving physical traces and other evidence, reports involving occupants or entities, and events surrounding military and sensitive nuclear sites are emphasized, but this timeline covers the full spectrum of UFO history, from contactee experiences to misidentifications of mundane phenomena and notorious hoaxes. Links to online sources are given, and links to biographical information are provided when available. A timeline like this allows us to view events from a different perspective, letting us make connections we might not otherwise see. It forces us to view the big picture, amid the grand flow of UFO cases, military security decisions, a vast swathe of personalities, and world history.

I examine the epistemological vision of the body as an accumulation of genes that has been developed by the UFO religion called the Raëlian Movement. I reflect it against various posthumanist theories and take an approach that has rarely been used in this domain: I analyze the aesthetic aspect of such scientific and religious models. New Religious Movements have intrigued scholars for decades. Oftentimes, people only research these groups when they find themselves at odds with their societies, resulting in a negative bias. This work presents a scientific approach that tries to answer the question: Why do new religions form? It tries to understand how humans interact with religious groups and their actions as a dynamic cognitive system.  At all points, this work intends to be interdisciplinary, incorporating religious scholarship, anthropology, sociology, and evolutionary psychology.  It proposes that specific types of religious leadership destabilize religious ritual systems in a specific way, which leads to the atrocities performed by some religious cults or to our great world religions.  This work defends the cognitive science of religion as the best approach currently being utilized to study such complex human phenomenon.

After Delmer S. Fahrney's retirement from the Navy, he joins Vimcar Corporation as Vice President. This Los Angeles engineering corporation was a manufacturer of military equipment and a supplier to the Navy. Delmer also acted as a consultant to the Coleman Engineering Company, a supplier to the U.S. Army Corp.  Delmer became also a member of the Franklin Institute of Philadelphia and of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In addition to the above activities, Delmer being now a private citizen, resumed his interest in ufology, a matter that had preoccupied him for decades.

I explain how to travel to the stars now, in our future, in our past using small amounts of energy to create warp drives and traversable wormhole time machines. Stephen Hawking was wrong about this not being possible because a fact has destroyed his beautiful theory. That fact is the 2017 Pentagon release of the USS Nimitz Battle Group's Close Encounter with a warp drive "alien" machine in November 2004 - the "Tic Tac" smoking gun.

The supposed UFO landing at Turís (Valencia, Spain) of July 1979 was field-inquired in depth in 1979, reinvestigated 2008. It remains as the paradigm of the “close encounter of the third kind”. The story shows unique shapes for both the landed craft and the related humanoids. There was only one witness, apparently credible. Ground traces were found as circumstantial evidence. Did the witness invent or hallucinate the event under the influence of the current publicity of the “Star Wars” movie?

invasions and fraud have cost the company $ 6.6 billion annually.
Based on the research of Oracle java in America is the biggest
security risk for desktop computers. According to reports java is
installed on 65% of computers, 48% of users did not have the
latest patches for Java last year been identified 119 new
vulnerabilities in the software. According to research, mobile
phone users are increasingly exposed to cyber attacks. Based on
analysis of more than 400 000 applications available in the most
popular apps and Google applications 14 000, or 3% have
security vulnerabilities, including sensitive information such as
location, text messages and contacts. In this work will be given to
the proposal of measures that could improve the protection of
computer systems from unauthorized intrusion.

It is said that real-life offers more fantasy than the human mind can ever imagine. So, I am writing fiction from my life experiences in a series of fantasy novels which I want to adapt to movies and comics. These will divulge the nature of incarnation, extraterrestrial races and the ongoing ascension of this planet and its life forms.

Pioneer Light-maker Starseed narrates the bizarre and premature birth of a boy who before age 5 tackles uncanny adventures and interacts with nature, humans and alien races in contemptuous authority. As a result, the child suffers fatal calamities from which it always miraculously escapes.

The story recounts the main adventures of the earthly ancestors of this Pioneer Starseed. The maternal roots start from five generations ago when the great, great grandmother escaped from slavery but could never make it back home. The maternal female ancestors down to the grandmother, are cursed to only deliver a single female.

The paternal ancestral history starts from 1190 and narrates migrations of the African tribe of Mankon in Bamenda, Cameroon: its wars, history and traditions and its genetic relationship to Bantu, Semitic, Sudanese and Negro races.

The child that is premature, born into a family of this hybrid race; due to infection by smallpox and a lightning strike near the place of birth, survives against all odds. The soul of the being that is born is part of an extraterrestrial team of mixed races, and this team helps it survive all calamities. The purpose of this intergalactic team of five is to help in the ascension of planet earth and life forms on it, including humans.

The antagonist is the force of darkness perpetrated by other aliens with agendas of control and dominion over the earth. These abduct humans put implants into their bodies and harvest human DNA for various purposes. The pioneer Starseed has to deal with this group and mitigate its negative influence on human ascension, without causing any conflicts with the dark forces.

After 2017 NY Times publication, the stigma of the scientific discussion of the problem of so-called UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) was lifted. Now the question arises: how UAP will affect the future of humanity, and especially, the probability of the global catastrophic risks? To answer this question, we assume that the Nimitz case in 2004 was real and we will suggest a classification of the possible explanations of the phenomena. The first level consists of mundane explanations: hardware glitches, malfunction, hoaxes and lies. The second level involves explanations which are not changing completely our model of the world, but only updating it: new military tech, large psyop operation or new physical effect like ball lightning. The third level of explanations requires a complete overhaul of our world model and includes a large set of fantastic hypothesis: alien starships, interdimensional beings, glitches in the matrix, projections from the collective unconsciousness, Boltzmann brain's experiences etc. The higher is the level of the hypothesis, the less probable it is, but the bigger is its consequences for possible global catastrophic risks. Thus, "integrating" over the field of all possible explanations, we find that UAP increases catastrophic risks. Technological progress increases our chances of direct confrontation with the phenomena. If the phenomenon has intelligence, the change of its behavior could be unexpected after we pass some unknown threshold. But we could lower the risks if we assume some reasonable policy of escaping confrontations.

Carl Sagan argued at a scientific congress in 1969 that the Earth had to take a very special position in the cosmos, with regard to the life on it, in order to arouse the attention of extraterrestrials. The special position of the Earth is the life on it, which is very rare in the cosmos.

But because life in the cosmos is so rare, according to Carl Sagan, there are not enough extraterrestrials in the vicinity of the Earth who could visit us in sufficient numbers, like thousands of U.F.O. sightings would suggest.

On the other hand, if there were actually as many extraterrestrial civilizations as the number of UFO sightings suggests, then life on Earth would not be unusual and our planet would therefore not be worth visiting with a spaceship.

As a result, UFOs controlled by extraterrestrials could not exist.

The study takes the perspective of the anthropology of science and the studies of science as culture, and relies on traditions of research into popular culture and new religions, to examine the theoretical, methodological, epistemological, logical, media and institutional mechanisms through which ufology seeks to legitimize its own system of beliefs, ideas and thought as scientific knowledge, and to secure authority over interpretative rights for its own discourse. It also takes a look at the importance of cultural construction of epistemology and of the socio-cultural context which has enabled the ongoing establishing of a contingent semantic matrix which tends to interpret "strange celestial occurrences" as extraterrestrial ships. In shedding light on the political, ideological and ethical climate in which UFO discourse first arose, and on broader debates reassessing the established scientific canons characteristic of the second half of the 20th century, ufology is not seen as a mere pop-cultural sensation, but rather as a potentially subversive amalgamation of claims challenging both the mechanisms traditionally seen as the only legitimate and reliable producers of truth, and the channels for the distribution of truth and knowledge. The main objective of the study is to analyze the mechanisms for the construction and use of "science" as a symbol of cultural legitimacy. UFO discourse − although originating on the fringes of popular culture and revolving around a purportedly nonexistent phenomenon − has become a very powerful and potentially dangerous system of beliefs/thought/knowledge defying the accepted knowledge, challenging the justification of the ways in which it is being produced as "objective", "real" or "existing", and the legitimacy of the mechanisms for the distribution and circulation of the knowledge as "true". It analyzes the rehabilitation of debates within the philosophy of science − obvious in scientific and public polemics about ufology − centred on demarcation bet-ween science and pseudoscience, in order to demonstrate that there is no such thing as universal and operational criteria for demarcating science from less valid epistemic achievements. It stresses that the demarcation issue is not only a theoretical problem of an internalist notion of science, but rather that these criteria are a playground for an incessant battle over who will set them up and thus acquire the epistemological credibility and social authority to speak from the position of science.

As highly speculative accounts of possible doom from space began to take precedence in the 1960s, the accounts of the original contactees were being derided and dismissed, and increasingly they were portrayed as mystics who were trying to peddle some new kind of religion to the gullible.
As a result of widespread disinformation, these days UFO researchers and enthusiasts are not just faced with derision among the general public and the mainstream media, but with rampant speculation about the extraterrestrial presence from within their own ranks as well.
This volume is intended to help the reader distinguish between corroborated facts and speculation, and so diminish the prevalent gullability of people running after every next outrageous claim from alarmists or fantasists.

The study discusses  a phenomenon examined from a folkloristic point of view: the formation of experience stories of UFOs and ETI sin Hungary after the change of regime (int he 1990s). Its aim is to present the practice connected to this phenomenon, its formation, its popularization, and to help to understand how this external, contextual frame can affect the personal storytelling, the narration of the individual experiences, the content of the stories, and int he end, the process of cultural cognition. To achieve this, the author uses the episodes of the TV-show „Close Encounters of the Zero’th Kind” as a concrete narrative and visual source.

Imagining Outer Space makes a captivating advance into the cultural history of outer space and extraterrestrial life in the European imagination. How was outer space conceived and communicated? What promises of interplanetary expansion and cosmic colonization propelled the project of human spaceflight to the forefront of twentieth-century modernity? In what way has West-European astroculture been affected by the continuous exploration of outer space? Tracing the current thriving interest in spatiality to early attempts at exploring imaginary worlds beyond our own, the book analyzes contact points between science and fiction from a transdisciplinary perspective and examines sites and situations where utopian images and futuristic technologies contributed to the omnipresence of fantasmatic thought. Bringing together state-of-the-art work in this emerging field of historical research, Imagining Outer Space breaks new ground in the historicization of the Space Age.

Le bilan de 25 ans du Canadian UFO Survey (1989-2013), produit par MM. Chris Rutkowski et Geoff Dittman d’Ufology Research, est l’étude statistique concernant les signalements d’ovnis la plus importante et rigoureuse réalisée au Canada. En raison de la quantité de cas compilés, de ses objectifs théoriques et de sa démarche méthodique, elle prend place parmi d’autres aussi respectables au niveau international. Ces affirmations suffisent pour comprendre la nécessité tant de promouvoir ce bilan que celle d’en faire la revue et la critique.

The present release is another major paper in the author’s series Official Reports Online (Number IV). It relates to the UFO declassification process in Spain during 1992-1999 and is entitled: “The Air Operative Command Searches Missing Reports.” It is a 22-page detailed report that shows the various attempts actioned by the Spanish Air Staff to find lost UFO reports within the whole structure of the Air Force. It neutralizes the sensationalist fallacy that the Spanish Air Force was not transparent or empowered during its UFO disclosure program. Profusely documented, it contains an appendix amounting to 76 additional pages of official UFO-related exhibits, administrative records and sighting information.  The paper is written in Spanish.
